Death Of Tony Collins, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Sunday 8th November 2020, of Mr Anthony (Tony) Collins, Barnacleagh, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Collins passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Co Dublin; surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness most bravely borne.

Predeceased by his brothers Diarmuid and Conor; his passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Norah; family Suzanne, Neil, Tony and Elaine; sisters Teresa, Siobhán, Eithne and Bernadette; sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; grandchildren Ella, Conor, Abby, Dilly, Tim, Scarlett, Harry and little Angel Jack; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

In accordance with government guidelines, Tony’s funeral will be celebrated privately. He will repose at his residence on Tuesday next, where family and close friends are welcome to visit between 2:00pm and 7:00pm. (Observing strictly social distancing and use of face coverings)
Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to St. David’s Church, Johnstown, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.

[Note: Due to national Public Health Guidelines regarding Covid-19 virus restrictions; attendance within the Church building will be limited to 25 persons only, with strict adherence to social distancing and face covering please.]

Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Ballyfad cemetery, Co. Wexford.
