Death Of Teresa McDermott, late Of Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 7th November 2020, of Mrs Teresa McDermott (née Kenny), Gweeneeny, Whitegate, Co. Clare and late of Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her husband Naoise; Mrs McDermott passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughters Fiona and Veronica; sons John and Paul; sister Clare; daughters-in-law Alice and Christina; sons-in-law Aidan and David; grandchildren Ciara, Ailbhe, Áine, Conor, David, Katie, Ronan, Ian, Susan, Cian, Lana, Zara, Jake and Shay; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

The earthly remains of Mrs McDermott will repose for Requiem Mass, in private, on Monday morning next, November 9th, at 11.30am in St. Flannan’s Church, Whitegate, Co Clare.

[Note: Due to national Public Health Guidelines regarding Covid-19 virus restrictions; attendance within the Church building will be limited to 25 persons only, with strict adherence to social distancing and face covering please.]

Requiem Mass will be followed immediately afterwards by interment in Clonrush Cemetery, Whitegate, Co Clare.

A memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Mrs McDermott will be held at a future date.
