Death Of PJ Fitzgibbon, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Monday 26th October 2020, of Mr Pat (P.J.) Fitzgibbon, Eltham, London and formerly of Friar Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Nora, sisters Ann (Ryan Yank), Margaret and Joan, nephew Joe; the passing of Mr Fitzgibbon will be sadly missed by his sister Imelda; brother Jerry; nieces; nephews; grandniece; grandnephews; brother in law Liam; extended relatives, very special friends Tommy and Geraldine Kane; neighbours and friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Fitzgibbon will repose in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Friday morning next, November 6th, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.

[Note: Due to national Public Health Guidelines regarding Covid-19 virus restrictions; attendance within the Cathedral building will be limited to 25 persons only, with strict adherence to social distancing and face covering please.]

Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Fitzgibbon, but will be unable to do so, due to coronavirus restrictions, same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
