Covid-19 Update: Tue. 3rd Nov. 2020 – 5 Deaths – 322 New Cases

15 new killer Covid-19 virus cases confirmed in Co. Tipperary

The Department of Health have confirmed this evening that there have been sadly 5 further deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,922.

There are 322 new additional cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 63,048. [Figure includes the denotification of 24 previously confirmed cases.]

Of this evening’s confirmed cases; 15 are in Co. Tipperary (Total 1,223 cases to date, per RTE summary); 96 in Dublin; 35 in Meath; 23 in Cork; 17 in Louth; 16 in Waterford; with the remaining 120 cases located across 17 other counties.

Currently, there are 307 confirmed cases of Covid-19 recorded nationally in our Irish State hospitals, with 42 of these patients in intensive care units, (ICU’s).

There are 570 new cases in Northern Ireland, with sadly a further 6 deaths from Covid-19 virus. Their death toll now stands at 730.

Total global cases this evening, now stand at well over 47 million [Global Cases – 47,370,241] with global deaths at over 1.2 million [Global Deaths – 1,209,172].
