It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Wednesday 26th August 2020, of Mr James (Jimmy) Gildea, Rathmanna, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo.
Mr Gildea passed away while in the care of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing will be sadly missed by his family; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
A private family funeral Mass will take place in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, on Friday August 28th next at 1:30pm.
The many unable to attend Requiem Mass for Mr Gildea, due to HSE and government virus restrictions, can view same online HERE.
Following Mass the earthly remains of Mr Gildea will be interred in St. Patrick’s Cemetery Moyne Road, Thurles.
