It was with great sadness we learned of the death, on Thursday 16th July 2020, of Goretti Phelan, Avondale, Portarlington, Offaly and Portarlington, Co. Laois.
Goretti passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her father Rody and partner Kevin Maher; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving daughters Siobhan, Louise and Shelly; their father Pat; mother Maureen; brothers Roger, Michael and Adrian; sisters Louise, Caroline, Angela [(Tully), Gala Shop, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles], Orla and Josie; grandchildren Kathlyn, Zoe, Aoibhe, Brook, Seán, Harley and Patrick; son-in-law Danny; Shelly’s partner Tom; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
Due to the Covid 19 Directive by Government and HSE; strict adherence to social distancing will be observed at her place of residence and during her religious ceremony. Removal will take place on Saturday morning, July 18th, to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.
