Sadly, this Easter Saturday night the Department of Health has confirmed 33 more deaths and 553 new cases of coronavirus, here in the Republic of Ireland.
Here in Co. Tipperary a further 15 cases over night have been confirmed bringing our overall total to 166.
In Northern Ireland, we can report the biggest single rise in deaths in just one day, with 15 more people having lost their lives, bringing their death toll to 107.
The overall death toll in the Republic of Ireland, now stands at 320 related deaths, while the total number of actual Covid-19 cases has risen to 8,928, with a further 286 older cases having been reported earlier at 1:00pm, by a testing laboratory in Germany.
