It is with a great personal sadness that I report the death, on Friday last June 21st 2019, of Mrs Margaret Hodgins (née Madigan), Glenbreeda, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Hodgins passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her husband William (Bud); daughters Marie, Theresa, Frances and Evelyn; sons William and Kieran; 14 grandchildren; sons in law Frank (Mc Mullin); Francis (Doolan), Tom (Stapleton) and Ger (Lyons); daughters in law Yvonne and Marian; her sisters; brothers; sisters in law; brothers in law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; her carer’s Peggy, Celia, Patricia and Veronica; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Hodgins will lie in repose at Stapleton’s Funeral Home, Thurles Road, Borrisoleigh on tomorrow evening, Tuesday June 25th, from 5:30pm with removal at 7:30 to the nearby Church of the Sacred Heart, Borrisoleigh South, Thurles.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 26th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
