It was with great sadness we learned of the death, on Tuesday 25th September 2018, of Mrs Mary Collins (née O’Connor), No 12, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Dan ( Latter former member of An Garda Siochána); Mrs Collins passed away following a short illness.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sons Patrick and Donal; daughters Olive and Anne; grandchildren Odhran, Katie and Ciara; brother Tony; daughter-in-law Louise; son-in-law Karl Mc Mahon; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Collins will repose at her residence on tomorrow evening, Thursday 27th September, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, at 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Friday morning, September 28th, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Aaah, no way!
Mary was an absolute lady all her life. A wonderful mother, neighbour and family friend.
My memories are many, nettle soup, dinner in the Collins house, potato picking, turf collecting. The list goes on.
Along with her beloved Dan, they were the most amazing neighbours. I will miss you Mary.
To Patrick, Olive, Ann and Donal I offer my most sincere condolences and prayers.
