Thurles Deaths 2nd & 3rd July 2016

KENNEDY

With-sincere-sympathyIt is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 2nd July 2016, of Mr Bartholomew (Batt) Kennedy, Liseroon, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Kennedy passed away peacefully while in the loving care of his family and his death is most deeply regretted by his loving mother; brothers; sisters; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; uncles; aunt; nephews; nieces; relatives and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Kennedy will be removed on Monday morning to St. Laurence O’Toole Church, The Ragg, Thurles, to arrive at 11.00am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.
Burial will take place immediately afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Inch.

Note: House strictly private. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired to North Tipperary Hospice.

KAVANAGH

DeathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 2nd July 2016, of Mr Joey Kavanagh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen; the passing of Mr Kavanagh is most deeply regretted by his sons P.J. and Jason; daughter Elaine; son-in-law Thos; daughter-in-law Breda; soon to be daughter-in-law Lyndsey; grandchildren Adam, Kate and Scott; sisters Teresa and Kathy; brother-in-law Tomás; sister-in-law Margaret; nieces; nephews; nieces-in-law; nephews-in-law; relatives; neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Kavanagh will repose at his residence on Monday evening, 4th July, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Removal will take place on Tuesday morning, 5th July, to arrive at The Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, at 10.15am for funeral Mass at 11.00am.
Burial will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

Note: House private on Tuesday morning please.

KEOGH

deathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Sunday 3rd July 2016, of Mrs Margaret Keogh, (Maggie), No 17, Sean Treacy Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Dinny, Mrs Keogh passed away peacefully, and her death is most deeply regretted by her loving sons Dick and Denis; daughters Margo (Cleere) and Mary (Walsh); daughters-in-law; sons-in-law; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters Ellen, Patricia and Ann; sister-in-law; nephews; nieces; neighbours, and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Keogh will repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Monday 4th July from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles for 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday next at 12.30pm, with burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.
