It was with sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 23rd January 2016. of Mr Patrick (Pa Joe) Maher, Rossestown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
The passing of Mr Maher is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Anne, son Michael, daughters Tina, Elaine and Siobhan, brother John, sisters Mary and Phyllis, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Maher will repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles on Tuesday evening, January 26th, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles at 6:45pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, 27th January at 11:00am. Burial will take place immediately after Mass in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road Thurles.

I am deeply saddened by the news today about my good friend Paddy Maher that worked beside me at McCools Thurles as a mechanic for 9 years. He was a true friend and the best mechanic around. I will never forget the good old times, always remembered by me, May he rest in peace.
