It is with sadness we learned today of the death on June 10th 2015 of Fr. Ray Reidy, formally of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and St. Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow.
Fr. Reidy passed away peacefully at Marymount Hospice, Co. Cork after a brief illness.
Fr. Reidy’s passing will be most deeply regretted by his loving sister Anne (Doyle), brother Gerry, sister in law, Annmarie, uncle Flan, aunt Peggy, nephews Johnny, Michael and Conor; together with nieces Aisling, Margaret, Sandra, Colette, Liz and Annmarie, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends, his fellow brothers at St. Patrick’s Society, Kiltegan, Bishops and Priests of the Waterford and Lismore Diocese.
Fr. Reidy’s body will repose at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel on Friday evening from 4:00pm with removal at 7:00pm to S.S. Peter & Paul’s Church, for Mass on arrival at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday at 2:00pm in St Patrick’s Chapel, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow, after which burial will take place in the Missionary Society cemetery.
