It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 21st May 2026, of Mr James (Biscuit) Boland, No 5 McDonagh Terrace, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Catherine and brother-in-law Tom; Mr Boland, sadly, passed away unexpectedly.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sisters Mary and Esther, brothers Michael, Richard, Sonny, Noel, twin brother P.J. and John, brother-in-law Shelly, sisters-in-law Nello, Jean and Ann Marie, aunts Pauline, Bid, Etty, Nonie and Peggy, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Boland will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY 47), on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday May 26th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. His funeral cortège will leave his home, proceeding on foot to be received into the Church of Our Lady and St Kevin, Ballydavid, Littleton, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 HD90) on Wednesday morning next, May 27th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 21st May 2026, of Mrs Ann Marie Gleeson (née Morrissey), ‘The Kerries’, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Gleeson passed away peacefully, while at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; devoted partner Pádraig, sons Owen and David, daughter Linda. grandchildren Cara, Sophie, Jack and Saoirse, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Sarah, brothers Davy, Paddy, and Peter, sisters Phyllis and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, great neighbours, especially Lillian and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Gleeson will repose at her residence in ‘The Kerries’ (Eircode V92 ED7D) Tralee, on Saturday and Sunday next, May 23rd and 24th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm each evening. Funeral cortège will be received into the Church of the Purification, Lissodeige, Churchill, Co. Kerry, on Monday morning at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by a private service of cremation.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jimmy and May, brother Paddy and sister Mary, brothers-in-law Alan, Jim and Paddy; Mr Maher passed away peacefully in Salford Royal Hospital, Stott Ln, Salford M6 8HD, United Kingdom.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brothers Jimmy Tom and John, sisters Peggie and Nellie,, sisters-in-law Kitty, Tess and Ann, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many great friends, both in Manchester and Clonoulty.

Requiem Mass will be offered for Mr Maher on Monday morning, May 25th, at 11:30am, followed by interment in Clonoulty Cemetery, Clonoulty, Cashel Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her loving father Ned; Ms Long passed away while in the care of staff at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny and Fennerhill Care Facility, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.
