Win €1000 For Your School Or Youth Group

Make a 1 minute STEM video by May 29th 2020 and you could win €1000 for your school or youth group.

www.reellifescience.com in association with NUI Galway are challenging primary and secondary school students to share their passion for science and all things STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) by making a one minute science video at home.

To support prospective young filmmakers, Reel Life Science have produced a helpful guide outlining how to choose your topic and style for your video, as well as how to produce and submit your video. This helpful guide is available by viewing HERE. Reel Life Science also recommend that budding filmmakers visit Digitalstories.ie because it provides reviews of free and paid-for apps and websites for filming, editing, animating and finding copyright free music and sounds.

To inspire entrants, Reel Life Science outline eight different themes worthy of exploration. These are: –

How Things Work
Myths Busted!
Science and Me
Science Heroes
Science in Space
Science on the Farm
Healing the Body, in association with CÚRAM

To submit your video you will need to upload it to YouTube and send www.reellifescience.com the link via their online application form (available HERE) before the closing date of May 29th 2020.

Winning videos will be announced in June 2020, and you can keep up-to-date by visiting their Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook pages.
