Thurles Gardaí are appealing for information following the discharge of a firearm in the Killenaule area early this morning.
The incident is understood to have taken place shortly after midnight, when a single shot was fired at a house just off St. Mary’s Road, in the Rathroe Terrace area of Killenaule village, near Thurles in Co Tipperary .
Unconfirmed reports indicate that possibly a dark coloured vehicle, with possibly two men on board was observed leaving the incident scene.

Thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
