Death Of Eamon Glasheen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 28th October 2025, of Mr Eamon Glasheen, Slievenamon Lounge, Cabra Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Eamon Glasheen passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Lily, nephew Jack (Griffin), brother-in-law Dr. Jack (Griffin); his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brother Francis, sisters Mairéad (Mehigan) and Mary (Griffin), nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Denis, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Glasheen will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Thursday afternoon, October 30th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey Church at Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. on Friday morning, October 31st, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 28th October 2025, of Mr Pakie Kinane, Loughane Upper, Templederry, Co. Tipperary.

In his 100th year, and predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, his infant children Niamh and Eileen, sister Rita, nephew John and great-grandson Patrick; Mr Kinane passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family;, loving sons Padraig and Cathal, daughters Marie (Van Dort), Siobhan (Tuohy) and Sinead (Ryan), daughters-in-law Maura and Diane, sons-in-law Hein, Michael and Eddie, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Kinane will repose at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Unit 4b, Knockanpierce, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E45 KN93), on Thursday afternoon, October 30th, from 5:00pm until 7:30pm before being received into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Cloghonan, Templederry, Nenagh (Eircode E45 A273) same evening.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Mr Kinane on Friday morning, October 31st, at 11:00am, followed by interment in Templederry New Cemetery, Templederry, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 19th October 2025, of Mrs Bridie Caldwell (née Harkin), Bristol, England, and formerly of Dovea, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents John and Mary, sisters Josie and Chrissy, brothers John and Pat; Mrs Caldwell passed away peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Bill, daughters Lisa and Caroline, Caroline’s partner Martin, grandsons George and Jamie, brothers Jimmy, Frank, Ger and Joe, sisters Sheila, Noleen and Carmel, uncle Pat Brolan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kerry.
