Death Of Rory O’Dwyer, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 12th January 2023 of Mr Rory O’Dwyer, Currabaha, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his father Michael Joseph; Mr O’Dwyer passed away, while in the care of staff at Milford Hospice.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Brigid, brothers Willie John, Francis, Donnacha, Michael, and Seamus, sisters Maura, Brid, Kathleen, Eilish, Therese, Noreen, Christena and Patricia, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Dwyer will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home Borrisoleigh, Thurles on tomorrow evening, Sunday, January 15th from 4:00pm, with removal at 7:00pm to the nearby Sacred Heart Church, Borrisoleigh, Thurles.
Requiem Mass Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, January 16th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediatly afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Templederry, Neenagh.

Thefts Of Home Heating Oil In Tipperary.

Gardaí in Tipperary are appealing to the public to be vigilant following a number of thefts of home heating oil in the past number of days.

Gardaí advise householders to check the oil levels in their tanks on a regular basis and where possible, arrange for smaller deliveries.
Security perimeter lighting should be increased around homes and shrubs or fencing erected where possible to screen the view of any oil tanks from the public road.

If you notice any suspicious vehicles in your estate or in the vicinity of your land, please note the registration plates and contact your local Garda Station as soon as possible.

Death Of Esther Donnellan, Late Littleton, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 11th January 2023, of Mrs Esther Donnellan (née Dee), Moher, Ballyleague, Co. Roscommon and late of Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Donnellan passed away peacefully, while in the care of the Palliative care team at Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, surrounded by family and friends.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Joe, her nine sons and two daughters, her sister and brothers, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Donnellan will repose at Farrell’s Funeral Home, Lanesboro, Co. Longford, on the evenings of Friday, January 13th, and Saturday, January 14th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Holy Rosary, 10 St. Mary’s Terrace, Ballyleague, Lanesborough Co. Roscommon on Sunday afternoon, January 15th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery, Ballyglass, Co. Roscommon.

Death Of Pat O’Toole, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 11th January 2023, of Mr Patrick (Pat) O’Toole, Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brother Johnny and both parents; Mr O’Toole passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Pauline, children Rory, Ciara, Eilis and Fergus, sons-in-law Keith and Emmet, daughters-in-law Eilish and Leona, his brothers Tom and Jim, sister Mary, grandchildren Zara, Fionn, Senan, Ollie, Maude, Spencer, Dara, Rowan and Dawn, extended relatives, neighbours and close friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon, January 14th, at 1:00pm in the Church of The Divine Word, Haroldsgrange, Dublin, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Mount Venus Cemetery, Mount Venus Rd, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.

At the request of family, those attending the Church of The Divine Word are asked to wear face masks, in the interests of public health & safety.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 12th January 2023, of Mrs Bernie (Eileen) Moylan (née Griffin), Tobins Cross, Holycross, Thurles, Tipperary and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her brothers Paudie, Jimmy, Maurice, Michael, sister Mary, sister-in-law Biddy; Mrs Moylan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her devoted husband Willie, daughters Johanna, Helena and Mary, sons James, Maurice, Liam, Gerard, Padraig and Michael, grandchildren, brothers Brendan and Fr. Gerard, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, friends and Padre Pio Nursing Home community.

The earthly remains of Mrs Moylan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday, January 13th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, before being received into the former Cistercian Abbey Church, at Holycross, Thurles, to arrive at 8:45pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon, January 14th, at 2:00pm.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
