Death Of Tony Butler, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 9th May 2023, of Mr Anthony (Tony) Butler, Lower Dama, Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Williamstown, The Commons, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Butler passed away peacefully, at his place of residence, in the presence of his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Maura, sons Thomas and Adrian, daughter Laura, brothers George, John and Kevin, sisters Mary, Helen, Ann, Frances, Teresa and Patricia, son-in-law Ollie, daughters-in-law Valerie and Martina, grandchildren Shane, Craig, Molly, Jack, Tony, Martin and Daniel, great grandson Tom Anthony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Butler will repose at Johnston’s Funeral Home, Johns Green, Kilkenny on tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday May 10th, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm same evening, with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm.
His remains will be received into the the Church of St. Bridget Ballycallan, Gorteen, Co. Kilkenny, on Thursday, May 10th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Ballykeeffe Cemetery, Ballycallan Road, Co. Kilkenny.

Death Of Ann Jordan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 8th May 2023, of Mrs Ann Jordan (née Shaw), No. 2 Pallas Street, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of No. 12 Clohessy Place, The Ragg, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Catherine and Maurice, her brother Dan, grandchildren Tyrone and Emily Rose and great grandson Darrell; Mrs Jordan passed away unexpectedly at her home.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Gillian, Margaret, Ellenor, Catherine, Mary and Noreen, her sons James and John and James’s dad Jim, her sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, partners, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Jordan will repose at the home of her daughter Gillian (E41 A6R7), Lower Pallas, Upperchurch, on Wednesday afternoon, May 10th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of Saint Laurence O’Toole, MonRoe, Bouladuff, Inch, The Ragg, Thurles, on Thursday afternoon, May 11th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, The Ragg, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Lizzy Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 7th May 2023, of Ms Lizzy Ryan (Morrissey), Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Knockmaroe, Milestone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Edmond and Sarah and her brothers Martin and Dinny; Ms Ryan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Unit B The Willows, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers Dan and Jimmy, sisters-in-law Breda, Bridget, Peggy and Mai, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, cousins extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Ms Ryan will repose at O’Dwyers Funeral Home, Cappanleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, on Tuesday afternoon, May 9th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm same evening.
The funeral cortège bearing her remains will be received into the Church of St. Patrick, Church Quarter, Kilcommon, Thurles, on Wednesday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Upperchurch Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Kitty Collins, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 8th May 2023, of Mrs Catherine (Kitty) Collins (née Burke), Lismore Park, Waterford City, and formerly of Gaultier Creamery, Dunmore East, Co. Waterford and Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband John, her sister Eileen, her brother John; the passing of Mrs Collins is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sons Neil, Paul and Johnny, daughters-in-law Dolores, Christine and Maíread, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother James, sister-in-law Patsy (Burke), nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Collins will repose in Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Tuesday evening, May 9th, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, with vigil prayers and Rosary at 8:00pm.

Walking from the Bank on Church Road en route to the Church; the funeral cortège bearing her remains will will be received into the Church of St. Paul, Church Road, Lisduggan, Co. Waterford, on Wednesday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am.
Following Mass her funeral cortège will pass her place of residence before interment in St. Mary’s Churchyard, Ballygunner, Co. Waterford.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 7th May 2023, of Mr Michael Coady, St. Annes Terrace, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his son Richard; the passing of Mr Coady is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridget (Biddy), sons Gerard and Darren, daughters Michelle and Laura, grandchildren, brother, sisters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives neighbours and a large circle of friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart. Gortnahoe, Thurles on Wednesday morning, May 10th, at 11:15pm, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Thurles Road, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
