Death Of John Ryan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 8th October 2023, of Mr John (Joseph) Ryan, Navan Road, Dublin 7, and formerly of Galboola, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Mr Ryan, [son of Mr Thomas Ryan and Ms Mary Croke], passed away peacefully with his loving and devoted daughter, Therese Ryan, by his side, while in the care of staff at Mater Hospital, Dublin 7.

The passing of Mr Ryan is most deeply regretted by his wife and best friend Joan (nee Horgan), six 6 daughters; Maura, Lucy, Carmel, Therese, Angela and Janet, grandchildren Harry, Ella, Georgia, Erin, Ava and Carol, relatives Mary-Jo, Eleanor, Patrick and Dolores, his daughter’s husband Peter, extended relatives, friends especially Eamonn, his next door neighbour (who was like a son to Mr Ryan).

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 88A New Cabra Road, Dublin 7, on Thursday afternoon, October 12th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Cabra West, Dublin 7, on Friday morning, October 13th, to further repose for Requiem Mass, at 10:00am, followed by private family interment at Mulhuddart Cemetery, Church Road, Dublin 15, Tyrrelstown, Dublin.

Death Of Michael Delaney, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 6th October 2023, of Mr Michael Delaney, Inchorourke, Urlingford, Thurles, Co. Tipperary / Kilkenny.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Mary and his brother Kieran; Mr Delaney passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, while in the care of staff at St. James’ Hospital Dublin.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Rose, daughters Mary and Catherine, sons-in-law Philip and Paul, grandchildren Marisa, Chleokate, Tommy, Séan and Lucas, brothers Paddy and Jack, sister Noreen sisters-in-law Breda and Bernadette, brother-in-law Paddy, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Delaney will repose at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny on Wednesday afternoon, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe, Thurles, to arrive at 7:30pm, same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Delaney will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Fennor Graveyard, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Kamie Witherow, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 8th October 2023, of Mrs Kathleen (Kamie) Witherow (née Perkins), Kyle, Rathmanna, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ard Mhuire, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Jim, brothers Liam and Seamus, sister Pauline; Mrs Witherow, passed away peacefully following a short illness, while in the care of Staff at I.C.U. Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly miissed by her loving family; sons Jason and Simon, daughter-in-law Katrina, brother James, nieces Beverley and Vanessa, nephews Roger, Peter, Andrew and David, Jim’s sons Conor, Liam and Michael, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass for Mrs Witherow will be celebrated on Friday morning, October 13th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 7th October 2023, of Mrs Emily Cormican (née Hayes), Derrybeg, The Heath, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Pallasgreen, Co Limerick.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tommie and brother Willie; Mrs Cormican passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at St Teresa’s Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; daughters Mary, Kay and Claire, son Sean, grand-children Shane, Lucy, Saoirse, Caoimhe, Sadhbh, Orla, Muireann and Niamh, sons-in-law Ger, Niall and Davy, daughter-in-law Jane, sister Lou (Ryan), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Dick and Francis, sister-in-law Pattie (Reddin), cousins, great neighbours and many friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 7th October 2023, of Mr J.J. Lawlor, The Waterfall, Graigue, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The passing of Mr Lawlor is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sons Jack and Harley, parents James and Kitty, brothers Patrick and Kevin, sisters Mairead, Yvonne and Catherine, partner Amelia, aunts, uncles, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of St. Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles, on Wednesday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
