Death Of John Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 24th August 2024 of Mr John Ryan (Phil), Toureen, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Foileen, Milestone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his sisters Maureen (O’Dwyer) and Lil (Ryan), brother Phil; Mr Ryan passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his place of residence.

His passing is most is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Teresa, son Martin, daughter Noreen (Ryan), daughter-in-law Triona, son-in-law PJ, grandchildren Kate, Amy, Lorna, Orla, Jack and Therese, sister-in-law Kathy, brother-in-law Con, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at Hayes’ Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, Cashel on Monday afternoon, August 26th, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday morning to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining cemetery.

Death Of Dick Condon, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 24th August 2024 of Mr Richard (Dick) Condon, Saleen, Co. Cork and formerly of Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Condon passed away peacefully at Cork University Hospital, Wilton, Cork City, Co.Cork.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Catherine (Kitty, nee Shelly), daughters Mary B. (Murphy), Kay (Barry), Lillian (Hartnett), sons Paddy, Jimmy, Richard, John, Fergal and Nigel, sons-in-law Jack, Joe and Dermot, daughters-in-law Trish, Margaret, Mary, Nora, Bridget and Sinead, brothers-in-law Dick and Thomas, sister-in-law Kathleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, great neighbours and a large circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Condon will repose at T. Wallis and Son’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, Co Cork [P25 YR22] on Sunday evening, August 25th 2024, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Mother of God (Church of St Mary), Saleen, Co. Cork on Monday morning, August 26th 2024, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in All Saints cemetery, Hill Road, Aghada, Co Cork.

Death Of Winnie McGrath, Templederry, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, yesterday, Friday 23rd August 2024, of Ms Winifred (Winnie) McGrath, Ballycarron, Curreeney, Templederry, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Catherine, her brothers and sisters Pat, Annie, Michael, Mary, Tommy, Kathleen, Joseph and Danny; Ms McGrath retired employee at Hayes Hotel, Thurles and retired sacristan at Curreeney Church, passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Nenagh General Hospital, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; brother Gerard, sisters Bridie, Rita, Joanie and Pauline, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 23nd August 2024, of Mrs Kay Carey, (née O’Dowd), Moyne Village, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Donal, brothers Joe, Tom and John, sisters Josephine, Marian and Phil; the passing of Mrs Carey is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughters, Patricia (Ryan), Bernadette (Reddan) and Caroline (Campion), adored grandchildren Amy, Tom, Jack, Sarah, Danny, Paddy, Liam, Dónal and James, sons-in-law Pat, Michael and Thomas, brothers Michael and Pat, sisters Helena (Webb) and Theresa (Corbett), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Her funeral cortège will arrive at the Church of St Mary, Moyne, Templetuohy, Thurles, on Sunday morning, August 25th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in nearby St Mary’s Cemetery, Moyne, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Eddie Russell, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 22nd August 2024, of Mr Edward (Eddie) Russell, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and former publican and shopkeeper at Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny.

In his 84th year; Mr Russell passed away peacefully, while in the care of family and staff at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; children Lynn, Edward, Jan, Julia, Naveed, granddaughters Kate and Charlotte, extended relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends and wonderful carers.

The earthly remains of Mr Russell will repose at Doyle’s funeral home Urlingford, Urlingford on Sunday afternoon, August 25th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St Michael, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny (E41 K312), arriving at 7:30pm same evening.

Requiem Mass for Mr Russell will be celebrated on Monday morning, August 26th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
