Gardaí Arrest Disqualified Drug Driver In Tipperary.

Gardaí on patrol, in the Nenagh town area of North Co. Tipperary, observed and halted a motorist driving erratically over this weekend. The driver and vehicle posed a possible danger to other motorists.

Upon enquiries, the driver was found to be disqualified from driving and was also deemed to be under the influence of drugs, having failed a DrugWipe test.
The driver has now been charged to appear in Court.

Death Of Olive Fahey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 15th June 2024 of Mrs Olive Fahey, (née Tate), Rahinch, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Fahey passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Michael, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Fahey will repose at Muintir na Tire Hall, Littleton, Thurles, on Monday afternoon from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of Our Lady and St. Kevin, Littleton, Thurles on same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Fahey will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon at 12:30pm, followed by burial in Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Bridget O’Connor, Late of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on 14th April 2024 of Mrs Bridget O’Connor (née McGrath) Leicester, England and late of Ballydonnell, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Aged 84, and pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Bridget, husband George, brothers Thomas, Walter, Daniel and Stephen, sisters Mary, Catherine, Josephine, Christine and Margaret; Mrs O’Connor passed away peacefully.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family;, sons Anthony and David, daughters-in-law Susan and Terry, brother David, grandchildren Natalie and Liam and great-grandchildren Logan, Coden and Luka.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Michael, Mullinahone, Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Saturday morning, June 22nd, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Mick Fahey, Formerly Drom, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Saturday 15th June 2024, of Mr Michael (Mick) Fahey, Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Drom, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Therese and daughter Ursula; Mr Fahey passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sons Nigel and Simon, grandchildren, great-grandson, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
