Mr Purcell passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, while in the care of staff at Ward 4C, Cork University Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his beloved partner Mary Dow, son Martin, brothers Tom, Pat, Sean, Martin and sister Peggy; the passing of MR Purcell is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughter Christina and son Billy, niece Teresa, grandchildren Sean, Kieran, great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Harley, Evie and Dylan, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers Jimmy, Michael and sisters Phil, Hannah and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and great friends.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Tony and Richie, step-sons Paul and Brian, daughters-in-law Amy, Cáit and Rachel, grandson Finlay, best friend Monica and her son Sean, brothers Michael, John and Kieran, sisters Sinead and Anne, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle Liam, aunt Bernie, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Ms O’Dwyer will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday afternoon, October 19th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. Her remains will be received into the Church of St James Church, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles on Sunday morning, October 20th, at 10:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The first stage of the proposed acquisition of the two Spa View Veterinary Clinics, by VetPartners, was notified to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) on Wednesday October 16th last. Back in August 2024, VetPartners also notified the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, of their intention to acquire Midleton Veterinary Hospital, Knockgriffin Industrial Park, Co. Cork.
Here in Thurles, Co Tipperary, Spa View Veterinary Clinic, (situated on Ikerrin Road, close to the junction with Kickham Street), first constructed their offices almost 30 years ago, (1995), having already opened their Co. Kilkenny practise five years earlier.
