It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 11th January 2026, of Mr Kevin Fanning, Slí na Siúire, Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Coldfields, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents James and Mary, infant sister Helen, godmother Mary (Maher), sister-in-law Bernie; Mr Fanning, sadly, passed away unexpectedly while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Limerick City, Co. Limerick.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving and devoted wife Charlotte (née McGinn, Roscrea), daughters Serena, Lisa and Aimee, son Kevin, grandchildren Georgia and Cathal, brother Pat, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Thomas, Patrick, Stephen and Aidan, sisters-in-law Pauline, Liz and Elaine, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Fanning will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59), on Wednesday afternoon, January 14th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. His remains will be received into the Church of St. James Church, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, on Thursday morning, January 15th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 11th January 2026 of Mrs Bridget (Bridie) Daly (née Meehan), Castleknock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Daly passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family while in the care of staff at Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock, Co. Dublin.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband James (Jim), daughters Breeda, Geraldine, Patricia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren Ian and Caroline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be received into the nearby Church of St Brigid, Blanchardstown, on Friday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium, Collinstown Cross, Dardistown, Dublin, (Eircode K67 HP26).

Pre-deceased by her parents Kevin and Breda (Sheridan); Mrs O’Leary, sadly, passed away unexpectedly at her place of ordinary residence.

Her funeral cortège will leave Devitt’s Funeral Home on Friday morning, at 11:15am, before being received into the Church of St John the Baptist, Friar Street, Cashel, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by a service of cremation at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, at 3:00pm.

Pre-deceased by her parents John and Mary Phelan, infant son John, sisters Freddie, Mary, Kathleen, brothers Tommy and Patrick; Mrs Maher passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.
