Pre-deceased by her parents Timmy and Birdie and her sister Noeleen; Mrs Eaton passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Mark and Paul, daughter-in-law Julieanne, adored grandchildren Holly, Miles and Issy, sisters Kay and Angelina, brothers-in-law Denis and Vic, nephews, niece, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The Dundrum House Golf & Leisure Resort situated in Co Tipperary has been forced to close with immediate effect, resulting in the loss of 48 jobs.
The company said the business had continued to operate at a loss and was no longer able to meet its financial obligations. A 30-day collective redundancy consultation process with employees is expected to begin later this week.

An IPAS accommodation centre on the Dundrum House campus, which is operated independently, is not expected to be affected by the closure.
Brogan Capital Ventures, which owns and operates the golf resort, informed staff today that the company would cease trading. The decision affects the restaurant, bar, golf course, driving range, golf shop and leisure centre.
In a statement, Brogan Capital Ventures said it very much regretted the adverse impact of this decision on its valued employees, golf and leisure centre members, customers, suppliers, the local community and other stakeholders. However, they state that the closure is unavoidable given the state of the company’s current financial affairs.
Ms Maura Barrett, (Cashel Library) Reports: An exciting lecture on a Cashel Bigamist, from the early 1800’s, will take place in Cashel Library on Thursday 28th August at 2:30pm.
This illustrated presentation will examine key themes arising from research into Irish convicts who had been transported to New South Wales in the early 19th century.
Australian-based Dr Damian John Gleeson, has been visiting Tipperary since the early 1980s and is descendant of the Gleeson, O’Brien and Collins families of Nenagh Co. Tipperary and Errinagh, Silvermines, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
As a qualified genealogist and historian, Mr Gleeson’s works include An Enduring Flame: St Patrick’s Mortlake, 1885-2020: An Irish-Australian Working-Class Community(Mortlake, NSW, 2021), winner of the City of Canada Bay Heritage Award in 2021, and The Rock of St George: celebrating the 125th anniversary of the first St Joseph’s Church/School, Rockdale (Rockdale City, NSW, 2017), winner of the Ron Rathbone Local History Prize, Bayside Council, 2017.

Message: Glenhaven Foods, is recalling the above batch of Braemoor Red Hen Ham & Cheese Chicken Kievs due to the presence of Salmonella.
Nature Of Danger: People infected with Salmonella typically develop symptoms between 12 and 36 hours after infection, but this can range between 6 and 72 hours. The most common symptom is diarrhoea, which can sometimes be bloody. Other symptoms may include fever, headache and abdominal cramps. The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days. Diarrhoea can occasionally be severe enough to require hospital admission. The elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.

Funeral Prayers will also be recited at the residence of Mrs Lyon’s, on Thursday morning, August 28th, at 11:00am, before her earthly remains are received into the Church of the Assumption, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
