Death Of Mai Collins, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, Thursday 16th October 2025, of Mrs Mary (Mai) Collins (née Cantwell), Butler Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Martin, parents William and Mary, sisters Lizzie, Rose and Annie; Mrs Collins passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving son Gerard, daughter-in-law Sorcha, sisters Frances and Phyllis, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Dick, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Collins will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Saturday afternoon next October 18th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, (Eircode E41 A528) on Sunday morning, October 19th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For those persons who would wish to attend Requiem Mass for Mrs Collins, but for reasons cannot, same can be viewed streamed live online, HERE.

Death Of Dan Morrissey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday last 13th October 2025, of Mr Dan Morrissey, Kylemakill, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Mohober, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Elizabeth and sister Biddie: Mr Morrissey, sadly, passed away unexpectedly at his place of ordinary residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; devoted and loving wife Teresa (née Perdue, Ballingarry), adored son Patrick, brother Phil (Callan, Co. Kilkenny), sister Nan (Yorkshire), nephews John, Michael-James and Patrick, nieces Julie, AnnMarie and Amy, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Ann, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Larry Flanagan, Dualla, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday last, 13th October 2025, of Mr Laurence (Larry) Flanagan, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny and late of Freshford and Dualla, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Flanagan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Oak Ward University Hospital, Waterford City, Co. Waterford.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family, neighbours and friends.

Rest in peace.
