Death Of Alex Butler, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 28th October 2025, of Master Alex Butler, Ballintogher, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his grandparents Peggy and Paddy, his great grandmother Margaret, aunt Taryn and uncle Raymond; Master Butler passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving and devoted parents Margaret and Michael, brothers and sisters Dillon, Caoimhe, Megan and his twin brother Adam, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, school community, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Master Butler will repose at his residence, (Eircode E41 YN56), on tomorrow afternoon, Thursday October 30th, from 4:30pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles, on Friday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 29th October 2025 of Mrs Joan Cussen (née Healy), Clover, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Margaret, brother Tommy and nephew Colm; Mrs Cussen passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Seán, sons Micheál and John, daughter Joann, granddaughter Bronagh, son-in-law Paul, John’s partner Sarah, brothers John, Joseph and Eamon, sisters Ann, Kitty and Marian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends,

The earthly remains of Mrs Cussen will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY47) on Friday afternoon, October 31st from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her funeral cortège will be received into the Church of St James, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, on Saturday morning, November 1st, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Eamon Glasheen passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Lily, nephew Jack (Griffin), brother-in-law Dr. Jack (Griffin); his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brother Francis, sisters Mairéad (Mehigan) and Mary (Griffin), nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Denis, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey Church at Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. on Friday morning, October 31st, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 28th October 2025, of Mr Pakie Kinane, Loughane Upper, Templederry, Co. Tipperary.

In his 100th year, and predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, his infant children Niamh and Eileen, sister Rita, nephew John and great-grandson Patrick; Mr Kinane passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family;, loving sons Padraig and Cathal, daughters Marie (Van Dort), Siobhan (Tuohy) and Sinead (Ryan), daughters-in-law Maura and Diane, sons-in-law Hein, Michael and Eddie, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
