It was with the deepest regret and sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 30th August 2021, of Mrs Teresa Ryan (née Dunne), Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Denis (Din); Mrs Ryan, (A former publican), passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sons Michael, Kevin and James, daughter-in-law Imelda, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Templemore, Co. Tipperary on Thursday, September 2nd, at 12:00 noon.
Interment will follow immediately afterwards in Loughmore Cemetery.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Ryan, but are unable to do so, due to current restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

The passing of Mr McGrath is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Renee, devoted daughter Triona and sons Frank and Liam, daughters-in-law Triona and Karen, grandchildren Eoin, Lucy, Johnny and Carter, mother-in-law Kathleen Hallinan, brothers Liam and Michael, sister Breda, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Sadly, a man in his 40s has lost his life following a road traffic accident near Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the Faugheen Road at Mainstown in Carrick-on-Suir, Co, Tipperary, yesterday evening.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, received fatal injuries in the crash. His body has been taken to the mortuary at South Tipperary General Hospital, where a post-mortem is expected to be carried out.
The road at Mainstown, from Faugheen towards Carrick on Suir, is currently closed pending a forensic examination by Garda Investigators, with local diversions remaining currently in place.
Gardaí are appealing to any road users who were travelling between Faugheen and Carrick on Suir between 9:00pm and 9:30pm on yesterday evening, and who may have dash cam footage to please make same available.

As a result of the ongoing Garda investigation into the sale and supply of illegal drugs in the Clonmel Garda district; officers from Carrick-on-Suir Garda Station, accompanied by members of the Clonmel Drugs unit executed a search warrant last week at a house in the Carrick Beg area of the town.
During the course of this search, officers seized 1,100 Xanax tablets, quantities of cocaine and cannabis, with a total street value estimated at some €3,300, together with a quantity of cash.
A 40 year old male was arrested and later detained at Clonmel Garda Station, under the provisions of Section 4 of the criminal Justice act 1984. He was later released without charge, pending a file being sent to the to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Clonmel Gardaí Investigate Sheep Killing near Moyglass, Co. Tipperary.
Meanwhile, Fethard Gardaí report that they are investigating a disturbing incident which occurred on Saturday August 28th, 2021 last, in the Moyglass area of Clonmel District.
A sheep was located dead by its owner; killed by blunt force trauma to the unfortunate animals scull.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for any witnesses or persons with CCTV, Phone or Dashcam footage to contact them at Clonmel Garda Station on Telephone No: (052) 6177640.
The Department of Health has reported 1,293 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland today.
There remain 382 people in our hospitals who have tested positive for the disease, a rise of 35 patients since yesterday. Of these, 61 are in our intensive care units, an increase of one overnight.
In Northern Ireland another 1,259 cases of coronavirus were reported today, up from 1,225 reported yesterday. There were 45 patients with Covid-19 in hospital intensive care units and, sadly, 6 further coronavirus-related deaths.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that an increase in Covid-19 transmission rates across Europe over the last two weeks, combined with low levels of vaccination in some countries, is deeply worrying. It feared another 236,000 Covid-19 deaths across Europe by December 1st of this current year.
Here in Ireland hesitancy over the taking of vaccine has taken a staggering drop over the last 10 months, with one in ten in the 18–24 age group stating they are unsure about the vaccine, there research based solely on misinformation obtained on social media.
The WHO European Director, Mr Hans Kluge has stated that this stagnation in vaccine uptake here in Europe is of serious concern and he attributed the higher transmissions of the spread of the more transmissible Delta variant to an exaggerated easing of restrictions, together with a surge in summer travel.
