It was with the deepest regret and sadness that we learned of the death, on yesterday, Friday 3rd September 2021, of Mrs Ansie Gleeson (née Keane), Knockmeal, Dolla, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Reiska, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Martin, her brother Dan and her sisters Mary Jo, Delia and Chrissie; Mrs Gleeson passed away while in the care of staff at Ashlawn Nursing Home, Carrigatogher Bog, Carrigatogher, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her cherished family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; Geraldine (Cunneen), Sheila (Gleeson), Matt, Martin and Mary (Guest), her brothers Jimmy, Joseph, John and Bertie, sons-in-law Mike, Pat and Robert, daughter-in-law Mairead, her eight adored grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Gleeson will repose at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Silver St, Nenagh South, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, for family and friends on tomorrow evening, Sunday, September 5th, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. Removal will take place on Monday afternoon, September 6th, from the residence of her son Matt, latter situated at Knockmeal, Dolla, Nenagh; to arrive in the Church of All Saints, Killeen, Nenagh, for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Kilnaneave Cemetery, Kilnaneave, Co. Tipperary.

There have been 1,703 new cases of Covid-19 reported by the Department of Health in the last 24 hours, here in the Republic of Ireland; up 289 on yesterday’s reported figures.
There are 363 people with the virus currently being treated in our hospitals across the country; a noted rise of 10 in number since yesterday, with 52 of these patients being treated in intensive care units, down 3 on the same period.
In Northern Ireland, there has been reported a further 1,812 new cases reported in the past 24 hours, with sadly, a further 7 deaths within the same time period.
The HSE’s National Lead for Testing and Tracing Ms Niamh O’Beirne has stated this afternoon that the positivity rate among tests carried out in 15-24, age group has declined, dropping from 22% to 16%, with the positivity rate among children aged 0-14 having also fallen.

It was with the deepest regret and sadness that we learned of the death, on Thursday 26th August 2021, of Mr Joe Gleeson, Hanwell, West London and formerly Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his wife Anne and brother Charles; Mr Gleeson sadly passed away suddenly.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his immediate family; Amanda and Tara his adored grandchildren Erin and Lily, brothers and sister Murt, Peggy, Tom, and Paddy, Malachy, Mark, his godchildren, nephews and nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Gleeson will repose for Requiem Mass at the Church of Our Lady and St. Joseph, 52 Uxbridge Rd, London W7 3SU, United Kingdom, on Monday morning, September 13th, at 10:00am, followed by cremation at Mortlake Crematorium Kew Meadows Path, London TW9 4EN, United Kingdom at 12:00 noon.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr Gleeson, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE. The family also hope to hold a memorial Mass in Templemore and Glenbeigh, at a date to be arranged, later in the year.

Pre-deceased by her sister-in-law Nora; Sr. Angela passed away while in the care of staff at St. Theresa’s Nursing Home.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sisters Sadie and Galatia, brothers Edward, George and Gerry, brothers-in-law Michael and Jim, sister-in-law Pati, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great-grandniece, extended relatives, her Presentation Community and Congregation, neighbours and friends.
