The wedding took place today of the very lovely Miss Karen Conway, daughter of Mrs Nancy and Mr Patrick Conway, Inagh, Co. Clare, to Mr Paul Tuohy, son of Mrs Marian and Mr Patrick Tuohy, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Their marriage took place in the historic Abbey of Holy Cross, Thurles, Co.Tipperary, with the ceremony beautifully conducted by the local parish priest, Rev. Fr Tomas Breen.

Escorted down the aisle by her father Patrick, the bride looked stunningly beautiful wearing an ivory satin Mikaella designer wedding gown, with organza detailed waist band and highlighted by an Elbow Single Ribbon veil. Equally beautiful were her accompanying bridesmaids, Siobhán Moore( Maid of Honour ) & Deirdre Carter, who both wore full-length, black evening gowns with organza train detail. Also adding to the splendour of this occasion were Flower Girl, Willow Carter, and Pageboys, Tadhg Conway & Joe Tuohy.
The groom Paul and his two Groomsmen, Jake Anchell (Best Man), & Frank Tuohy, all looked dashing in black evening suits, elegantly highlighted by white wing collared shirts, grey waist coats with and silver & black silk cravats.
The couple proclaimed their love for each other in front of a large gathering of over 200 family members and close friends, with music provided by organist Miss Geraldine Delaney assisted by vocalists, Mr Frank Tuohy & Miss Katie Lawless.
Scripture readings were undertaken by Barry Conway & Michael Tuohy, while prayers of the faithful were read by Pádraig Conway, Mairead McIntyre, Ciara Carson & Dave O’Neill. The Offertory Procession of Bread & Wine were carried to the alter by Mrs Nancy Conway & Mrs Marian Tuohy, while the Communion Reflection was read by Michael Brogan. Ministers of The Eucharist included Mary Keavey & Teresa Conway.
Following the ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs Tuohy retired to the popular wedding venue The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort nestled in the charming village of Killenard, in Co Laois, where guests were entertained to a Mulled Wine Reception, together with other pre-dinner light refreshments.
Following family photographs in this luxurious hotel complex, the newly married couple joined their guests in the hotels Ballroom for dinner, which was followed by dancing late into the evening.
The couple have chosen St. Lucia in the Caribbean & New York as their favoured honeymoon destination.

The groom Liam and his two Groomsmen, John Pollard (BestMan), & Matthew Pollard all looked dashing in black evening suits, elegantly highlighted by white Oxford Plain shirts with waistcoats and matching white silk ties.
The couple proclaimed their love for each other in front of a large gathering of over 190 family members and close friends, with music provided by Church music specialist Mr Stephen Murphy.

Equally stunningly beautiful were her accompanying Bridesmaids; Mary Ryan, Siobhán Ryan and Jodie Carberry, all of whom wore full-length fitted coral pink evening gowns, with delicately adorned cross-over bodices.
The groom, Kevin, and his three Groomsmen, Francesco Palumbo, John Ryan and Thomas Carr all looked dashing in black evening suits, white shirts, with grey silk cravats & matching silver grey waist coats.

Equally beautiful were her accompanying bridesmaids, Ellen Stakelum and Ailís Browne, who both wore jade green, full-length evening gowns, with pleated bodices & also wearing fresh flower head pieces.
The groom, Stephen, and his groomsmen, William & Paul Browne, looked dashing in their grey evening suits, elegantly highlighted by white wing collared shirts, cream waist coats & and matching cream silk cravats. Also adding to the splendour of this occasion were Flower Girl Hannah Maher and Pageboy Conor Browne.
Scripture readings were undertaken by Michelle Browne & Philip Ryan, while ‘Prayers of the Faithful,‘ were recited by Ciara Maher, Fiona Browne, Caitriona Cass, Fidelma Coakley, Grace McDonald & Aaron Martin. The traditional ‘Communion Reflection,’ was read by Stiofan Ryan.
The couple expressed their love for each other in front of a large gathering of close family and friends, while music and song for the ceremony were performed by the very talented organist Rachel Cornally, accompanied by superb vocalists Edel Morris & Melanie Butler.
Following the ceremony, the new Mr & Mrs Browne retired to the popular wedding venue, the Anner Hotel, here in Thurles, Co.Tipperary, where guests, on arrival, were met by the manager Mr Michael Cleary, before being entertained to a strawberry & champagne reception, together with other light refreshments.
