Covid-19 Update: Sun. 2nd Aug. 2020 – Zero Deaths – 53 New Cases

The Government is expected to introduce random testing at airports because the International situation in relation to the Covid-19 virus is becoming more volatile.

Minister for Health Mr Stephen Donnelly stated: “We’re introducing random testing at the airports and an increased public health presence while examining other options as well with regard to restrictions on non-essential travel”

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been zero new deaths caused by this pandemic, leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,763.

However, there were 53 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, now at 26,162.

Of the cases notified today, 27 are men; 26 are women and 80% are under the age of 45 years.

Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ronan Glynn has again warned, “We all need to continue to adopt a prevention mindset and continue making good choices to protect ourselves and others while trying to live safely with Covid-19”.

There have been zero new cases of the Covid-19 virus identified here in Co. Tipperary over the past two days, leaving the total number of cases remaining at 545, within our county boundary. However, University Hospital Limerick, the medical facility serving North Tipperary, has the highest number of suspected Covid-19 cases in the country.

Covid-19 Update: Sat. 1st Aug. 2020 – Zero Deaths – 45 New Cases

“Keep fighting hard against Covid-19 virus”

There have been zero new cases of the Covid-19 virus identified here in Co. Tipperary, leaving the total number of cases remaining at 545, within our county boundary.

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been zero new deaths caused by this pandemic, leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,763.

However, there were 45 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, now at 26,109.

We are aware that of today’s cases, Co. Limerick have 9; Kildare have 8; Mayo have 7; Meath 4; Cavan 6; Cork 7 and Dublin 4.

Of the cases notified today; 23 are men and 22 are women, with 77% under 45 years of age, (50% aged between 25- 44 years)

Covid-19 Update: Fri. 31th July 2020 – Zero Deaths – 38 New Cases

“Keep fighting hard against Covid-19 virus”

There have been one new case of the Covid-19 virus identified here in Co. Tipperary, leaving the total number of cases remaining at 545, within the county boundary.

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been zero new deaths caused by this pandemic, leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,763.

However, there were 28 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, now at 26,065.

Over 1.46 million people have downloaded the Covid-19 tracker application.

Meanwhile, An Taoiseach and the Northern Ireland first minister have stated that the first meeting of the North / South Ministerial Council in three-and-a-half years, has been a very positive and open one. Ms O’Neill said that covid-19 virus knows no borders and there needs to be a joined up approach as much as possible. “We must reflect on the fact that 2,320 people have died from Covid on this island alone,” she stated.

Covid-19 Update: Thur. 30th July 2020 – 1 Death – 85 New Cases

“Keep fighting hard against Covid-19 virus”

There have been zero new cases of the Covid-19 virus identified here in Co. Tipperary for the fourth day in a row, leaving the total number of cases remaining at 544, within the county boundary.

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been one new death caused by this pandemic, leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,763.

However, there were 85 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, now at 26,027, with 3,350 people hospitalised

Cases continue to increased in Dublin (12,487 – 18 today); Kildare (1,543 – 26 today) and Clare (380 – 11 today).

Covid-19 Update: Wed. 29th July 2020 – Zero Deaths – 14 New Cases

There have been zero new cases of the Covid-19 virus identified here in Co. Tipperary for the third day in a row, leaving the total number of cases remaining at 544.

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been zero new death caused by this pandemic, leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,764.

However, there were 14 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, now at 25,942.

Cases have increased in Dublin, Meath and Kildare.
