Covid-19 Update: Sun. 25th April 2021 – 1 Death – 429 New Cases.

The Department of Health this evening has confirmed that there has been 1 further death caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll, here in the Republic of Ireland, remaining at 4,873.

There have been 429 new additional virus cases reported here within the Irish Republic. This leaves the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, at 246,633.

Of the cases confirmed today, 78% were under the age of 45 years.

There have been zero Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland, however 73 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

There have been 5,725 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary, since the pandemic began, same figure relevant up to and including April 23rd, 2021.

There are 174 people with Covid-19 remaining in hospital today, and of that number, 45 are in ICU’s, according to Ireland’s COVID-19 Data Hub.

Some 966,611 first doses of Covid-19 vaccines have now been administered here in Ireland up to April 21st, with 393,310 persons having received their second dose.
Some 165,000 Covid-19 vaccines due from AstraZeneca, which had been delayed, are now expected to arrive next week, with the head of the task force responsible for distributing vaccines, declaring that next week will be the biggest yet.

The total worldwide number of virus cases identified up to 5:00pm this evening, now stands at almost 145.77 million confirmed, with global deaths at almost 3.09 million.

Covid-19 Update: Sat. 24th April 2021 – 5 Deaths – 461 New Cases.

Some 25% of eligible adults now have their first vaccine dose [948,000], while 10% are now fully vaccinated with their second dose [381,000] — An Taoiseach Mr Micheál Martin.

The Department of Health this evening has confirmed that there has been 5 further deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll, here in the Republic of Ireland, remaining at 4,872.

There have been 461 new additional virus cases reported here within the Irish Republic. This leaves the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, at 246,204.

Of the cases confirmed today, 75% were under the age of 45 years.

There have been 5,716 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary, since the pandemic began, same figure relevant up to and including April 22nd, 2021.

There are 162 people with Covid-19 remaining in hospital today, and of that number, 46 are in ICU’s, according to Ireland’s COVID-19 Data Hub.

Yet another 20 new killer Civid-19 virus cases confirmed in Tipperary, in last 24 hours.

The Department of Health this evening has confirmed that there has been 1 further death caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll, here in the Republic of Ireland, remaining at 4,867.

There have been 434 new additional virus cases reported here within the Irish Republic. This leaves the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, at 245,743.

Of the cases confirmed today; 217 are in Dublin, 30 each are confirmed in Kildare and Cork, 27 in Limerick, 21 in Donegal, with the remaining 109 cases located across 20 other counties.

There have been 5,691 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary, since the pandemic began, same figure relevant up to and including April 18th, 2021. There have been 20 new killer Civid-19 virus cases confirmed in Co. Tipperary, in the last 24 hours; bringing the number of cases to 163 confirmed in the past 14 days.

There are 166 people with Covid-19 remaining in hospital today, and of that number, 48 are in ICU’s, according to Ireland’s COVID-19 Data Hub.

Covid-19 Update: Thur. 22nd April 2021 – 10 Deaths – 617 New Cases.

The Department of Health this evening has confirmed that there has been, 10 further deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll, here in the Republic of Ireland, remaining at 4,866.

There have been 617 new additional virus cases reported here within the Irish Republic. This leaves the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, at 245,310.

There have been 5,654 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary, since the pandemic began, same figure relevant up to and including April 20th, 2021.

There are 179 people with Covid-19 remaining in hospital today, and of that number, 48 are in ICU’s, according to Ireland’s COVID-19 Data Hub.

The National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) is not expected to issue a recommendation regarding the future of the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine, until sometime early next week.

Some 878,823 first doses of Covid-19 vaccines have now been administered here in Ireland up to April 19th, with 362,142 persons having received their second dose.

Intel has confirmed there has been an outbreak of at least 70 cases of killer Covid-19 on their construction site in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

Covid-19 Update: Wed. 21th April 2021 – 15 Deaths – 401 New Cases.

21 new killer Civid-19 virus cases confirmed in Tipperary, in last 24 hours.

The Department of Health this evening has confirmed that there has been, 15 further deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll, here in the Republic of Ireland, remaining at 4,856.

There have been 401 new additional virus cases reported here within the Irish Republic. This leaves the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, at 244,695.

Of the cases confirmed today; 182 are in Dublin, 40 in Kildare, 31 in Donegal, 23 in Limerick, 22 in Cork, with the remaining 103 cases located across 17 other counties.

There have been 5,631 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary, since the pandemic began, same figure relevant up to and including April 18th, 2021. There have been 21 new killer Civid-19 virus cases confirmed in Co. Tipperary, in the last 24 hours; bringing the number of cases to 114 confirmed in the past 14 days.

There are 179 people with Covid-19 remaining in hospital today, and of that number, 47 are in ICU’s, according to Ireland’s COVID-19 Data Hub.

Meanwhile, An Taoiseach Mr Micheál Martin has reaffirmed the Government’s target of ensuring that 80% of adults will either receive their first Covid-19 vaccine, or are offered one, by the end of June 2021.

Some 863,958 first doses of Covid-19 vaccines have now been administered here in Ireland up to April 19th, with 355,529 persons having received their second dose.

The total worldwide number of virus cases identified up to 5:00pm this evening, now stands at almost 143.12 million confirmed, with global deaths approaching 3.05 million.
