It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 3rd June 2025, of Mr Andrew (Paulie) Boilson, Kylenoe, Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his brothers Jimmy, Thos, Martin and Willie, sisters Peggy, Kitty, Mary and Angela; Mr Boilson passed away peacefully, following a long illness most bravely borne, while in the care of staff at Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sons Barry, Andrew and Edward, their mother Bernie, devoted partner Anna, grandchildren Cate, Liam, Cillian and Ailbhe, daughters-in-law Fionnuala and Sarah, sister Anne (Clarke, Canada), nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Phil and Mary, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Boilson will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Thursday afternoon, June 5th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Peter, Moycarkey, Thurles, at 7:45pm same evening. Requiem Mass for Mr Boilson will be celebrated on Friday morning, June 6th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Moycarkey Old Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Sunday 1st June, 2025, of Mrs Mary Callanan (née Roche) Rosturra Crescent, Woodview Park, Limerick City, Co. Limerick and formerly of Mitchell Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Gus; sadly, Mrs Callanan passed away unexpectedly.

Her remains will be received into the Church of Christ the King, Caherdavin, Co. Limerick, on Saturday morning, June 7th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by a Service of Cremation, same day, at 1:00pm at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30).

Message: The Happy Pear are recalling the above batch of The Happy Pear Lovely Basil Pesto due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
Nature Of Danger: Symptoms of Listeria monocytogenes infection can include mild flu-like symptoms, or gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. In rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications. Some people are more vulnerable to Listeria monocytogenes infections, including pregnant women, babies, and people with weakened immune systems, including the elderly. The incubation period (time between initial infection and first symptoms appearing) is on average 3 weeks but can range between 3 and 70 days.

Pre-deceased by her husband Edward (Neddy), brother Michael (Mickie), sisters Maureen (Kavanagh), Eileen (Maguire) and Patricia (Hanley); Mrs Maher, sadly, passed away unexpectedly, while in the care of staff of Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.
