Death Of Edmond Semple, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 18th September 2025, of Mr Eamonn (Edmond) Semple, Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK. and formerly of Butler Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Tommy and Josephine, the passing of Mr Semple is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; partner Sally, brothers TJ and Conor, sister Mairin, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Jennifer and Anne, brother-in-law Tom, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Semple will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Monday afternoon, November 3rd from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will received into the Church of St Joseph and St Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, on Tuesday morning, November 4th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death of Sadie Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday Friday 31st October 2025, of Mrs Sarah (Sadie) Ryan (née Ryan), Fertina, Holycross, Tipperary and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 95th year and predeceased by her husband Donal, sons Gerard and Michael, sisters Sr. Louise, Kitty (Skehan) and Noreen (Scott); Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, while in the care of staff at the Slievenamon Unit, Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel and Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Margaret (Ryan), Ann (Kennedy) and Angela (Hickey), adored grandchildren Gerard, Eoghan, Margarette, Sarah and Róisín, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Har (Kennedy) and Jimmy (Hickey), sister Sr. Philomena (Lily), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, sister-in-law Ann (Scott), cousins, extended relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Tipperary GAA has officially unveiled its new home jersey for the 2026 season, designed by O’Neills and launched in partnership with long-standing sponsor Fiserv, Inc. and its leading point-of-sale brand, Clover.
