Death Of Donal Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 14th January 2025, of Mr Donal Ryan, Fertina, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his sons Gerard and Michael, brothers Pat and Michael, nieces Marian and Noreen and nephew David; Mr Ryan sadly passed away unexpectedly following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; devoted wife Sadie (née Ryan), daughters Margaret (Ryan), Ann (Kennedy) and Angela (Hickey), grandchildren Róisin, Eoin, Gerard, Margarette and Sarah, grandchildren Jack, Sadie and Lilly, sons-in-law Har and Jimmy, sisters-in-law Sr Philomena (Lilly) and Ann (Scott), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow afternoon, Friday January 17th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey in Holycross, Thurles, on Saturday morning, January 18th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death of Patsy Kiely, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 15th January 2025, of Mr Patsy Kiely, Ballyknockane, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Lixnaw, Co. Kerry.

Predeceased by his wife Catherine (Kit) and grandson Joe, the passing of Mr Kiely is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughters Dympna and Yvonne, sons-in-law Liam and Liam, Grandchildren, Fiona, Darragh, Caoimhe, Millie, Ruby, Belle, Elisse and Emma their partners, Stephen, Kate and Sean, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, friends and members of his Coursing Community.

Death Of Catherine Loughran, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 14th January 2025, of Mrs Catherine Loughran (née Dooley) Castleknock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Sean Tracy Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Loughran passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at James Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Sean, daughter Deborah, sons David, William and Jonathan, grandchildren Timmy and Phoenix, brother Monsignor Dr Maurice (Loughmore, Templemore), daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Loughran will be received into the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock, on Saturday morning next, January 18th, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by a service of Cremation in Glasnevin Cemetery, Finglas Rd, Glasnevin, Dublin, (D11 XA32).

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 13th January 2025, of Mr Patrick (PJ) Dwyer, Hardwicke Street, D1, Co. Dublin and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brother Johnny and sister Carmel; Mr Dwyer passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; partner Patsy, loving sons Daniel, Anthony, Andrew and Sean, brother Michael, grandchildren Matthew and Tilly, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 13th January 2025, of Mr Oliver Ryan (Roche), Main St., Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Mai, John and Alicia Ryan, Paddy Bourke and his daughter-in-law Catherina; Mr Ryan passed away while in the care of staff at Waterford University Hospital, and Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Rena (McGrath), sons John and Declan, daughter Triona (Fitzgerald), adored grandchildren, son-in-law John, brothers, sisters, aunt, uncle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

His remains will be received into the nearby Church of the Sacred Heart, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, on Thursday morning, January 16th, to further repose for requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
