Death Of Brendan Ryan, Formerly Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 22nd July 2026, of Mr Brendan Ryan, Ballinakill, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Gerry and Mary; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Manor Nursing Home, Nenagh, North Co. Tipperary .

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving sister Bernie (Moroney), brothers John, Jer and Tim, brother-in-law Donie, sister-in-law Eileen, nieces Antoinette, Bernadette and Clodagh, nephews Barry, Greg and Seán, grandniece Ciara, grandnephews Michael, Seán and Cian, also regretted by William, Luiza and Algis, cousins, extended relatives, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at Tierney’s Funeral Home, Roscrea, on Saturday afternoon from 5.00pm until 7.00pm same evening.
His remains will be received in the Church of St Cronan, Roscrea,on Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm to further repose for Funeral Mass at 1:00pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining new graveyard.

Death Of Sonia Griffin, Formerly Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, (Published on Monday 20th July 2026) of Mrs Sonia Griffin (née Kelly), Lenham, Kent, England and formerly of Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her father Kevin, brother Kristian, grandparents John and Bridie Kelly, uncles Jim, Michael and Jackie and aunt Sally; the passing of Mrs Griffin is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Peter, children Alex, Mia and Harry, mother Marian, sisters Wendy and Sarah, brother Adam, in-laws Ashlee, Mike and Jason, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Service of Cremation highlighting the life of Mrs Griffin will take place on Tuesday afternoon, 28th July 2026, at 2:00pm in The Secret Garden Venue, Mersham Le Hatch, Hythe Road, Kent, England, (UK Postcode TN25 6NH), service which can be viewed by video link/live stream, (Link to follow)

Burial of ashes will take place in Glengoole, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, at a later date.

Death Of Mary Crowe, Formerly Of Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 19th July 2026, of Mrs Mary Crowe (née O’Dwyer), Gurtussa, Dundrum Co. Tipperary and formerly of Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Austin, infant son Patrick, parents Betty and Jimmy, son-in-law Ian, brothers Bryan and Seamus; Mrs Crowe passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at the Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons William and Seamus, daughters Cora, Deirdre, Finula and Andrea, nine adored grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters Margaret and Colette, brothers Donal and Francis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Her funeral cortège will be received into at the Church of the Assumption, Knockavilla, Dundrum, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning, July 22nd, at 11:30am, followed by interment in St Senan’s Cemetery, Knockavilla, Dundrum Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Sunday 19th July 2026, of Mrs Margaret (Peggy) Buggle (née Bracken), Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Thomas and son Martin; Mrs Buggle passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Co, Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Philip, Thomas, Andrew, James and Gerard, daughter Sarah, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Pre-deceased by her husband Michael; Mrs McGrath passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughter Jane, son Eamon, grandchildren Sarah, Rebecca, Cian and Emily, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
