Death Of Thomas Cummins, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 18th September 2025, of Mr Thomas Cummins, Graigue, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Sarah, sister Mary (Quinlan) and brother JJ; Mr Cummins passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Joan, daughters Marie (Crowe) Sarah and Angela, sons Pat and Seamus, brother Donal and sister Helen (Shorley), grand-children Christopher and Anna, sons-in-law Padraig and John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Cummins will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CO59) on Monday afternoon, November 3rd, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Peter, Moycarkey, Thurles to further repose for Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning, November 4th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby St Peter’s Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Edmond Semple, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 18th September 2025, of Mr Eamonn (Edmond) Semple, Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK. and formerly of Butler Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Tommy and Josephine, the passing of Mr Semple is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; partner Sally, brothers TJ and Conor, sister Mairin, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Jennifer and Anne, brother-in-law Tom, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains will received into the Church of St Joseph and St Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, on Tuesday morning, November 4th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death of Sadie Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday Friday 31st October 2025, of Mrs Sarah (Sadie) Ryan (née Ryan), Fertina, Holycross, Tipperary and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 95th year and predeceased by her husband Donal, sons Gerard and Michael, sisters Sr. Louise, Kitty (Skehan) and Noreen (Scott); Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, while in the care of staff at the Slievenamon Unit, Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel and Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Margaret (Ryan), Ann (Kennedy) and Angela (Hickey), adored grandchildren Gerard, Eoghan, Margarette, Sarah and Róisín, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Har (Kennedy) and Jimmy (Hickey), sister Sr. Philomena (Lily), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, sister-in-law Ann (Scott), cousins, extended relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Thursday 18th September 2025, of Mrs Patricia Lee, (née Stapleton), Liverpool, UK, and formerly of Brittas, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Cappanavile, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Derek, parents Patrick and Catherine Stapleton and her infant brother Matthew; the passing of Mrs Lee is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sister Una, brothers Dermot and Matty, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Rita, nieces Noelette, Elaine, Marie, Patricia, Una and Antoinette, nephews Padraig, Conor, Chanel and Matthew, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Tom Walsh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 30th October 2025, of Mr Tom Walsh, Jessfield, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his loving parents William and Josephine, sister Josie, nephews Fr Colm (O’ Brien), John and David (Finnane); Mr Walsh passed away peacefully while in the care of staff of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Lilly (Byrne), Eleanor (Finnane), nephew Ronan, nieces Lisa and Maria, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Walsh will repose at Brett’s Funeral Home, No. 6 Kickham Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, (Eircode E41 EV78), on tomorrow afternoon, Friday October 31st from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry Upper, Thurles, (Eircode E41 X523), at 7:30pm same evening.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Mr Walsh on Saturday morning, November 1st, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
