It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death today, Thursday 24th April 2025, of Mr Walter Phillips, Collins Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly McCann Street, Cashel, Co.Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Billy and Bridie, infant brother Francis, brothers Eddie, Billy, Jimmy and John, sisters Jane-Anne, Josie (Ivers), Bridie (Moloney) and Maggie (Manton); Mr Phillips passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Nenagh General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; devoted and loving wife Kathleen (née Kenneally), daughters Maria (Woodlock) and Suzy (Burgess), son Billy, grandchildren Sean, Ciarán, James and Roisín, sons-in-law Jim and Colin, daughter-in-law Elaine, brothers Paddy and Pious, sisters Maura (Hill) and Kathleen (Coleman), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law Brian, Bert and Willie, sisters-in-law Catherine and Noreen, extended relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Phillips will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Saturday afternoon, April 26th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Sunday morning, April 27th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 23rd April 2025, of Mr Thomas (Tom) Cashin, “Dun Muilleann”, Monakeeba, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Josie, brothers and sisters: Mr Cashin, sadly, passed away unexpectedly at his place of ordinary residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Cashin will repose at Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, on tomorrow evening, Friday April 25th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry, Thurles, on Saturday morning, to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 22nd April 2025, of Mr John Jordan, Ayrfield, Co. Dublin and formerly of No.6 Connolly Terrace, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Jordan passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence, surrounded by his loving family, .
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving parents Frank and Mary brothers Mark and Philip, Philip’s partner Humary, sister Nicola, uncles, aunts, niece Olivia, nephew Jordan, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Elizabeth and his infant sister Elizabeth; Mr O’Doherty, sadly, passed away suddenly at his place of ordinary residence.
