It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 23rd June 2025, of Mrs Margaret (Peggy) Ryan, (née Buckley), No 12 Mount George, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Garnakilka, Upperchurch, Thurles Co. Tipperary and Reafadda, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Michael and son Michael; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Jerry, Joe, Patrick, William, Eamon and Seamus, daughters Bridget and Catriona, son-in-law Anthony, daughters-in-law Eileen and Florence, grandchildren Diarmuid, Cathal, Orla and Clodagh Margaret, brother Noel, sisters Eileen, Teresa, Pat and Phil, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Stapleton’s Funeral Home, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, (Eircode E41 YT20), on Wednesday afternoon, June 25th, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm, before being received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Borrisoleigh, Thurles at 8:00pm same evening. Requiem Mass for Mrs Ryan will be celebrated on Thursday morning, June 26th at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr McGrath passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Breeda, sons J.R. and Tom, daughters Heather and Patrique, their partners Kathleen, Ali (Akmese) and Ryan (Biggs), grandchildren Alexander, Edward, Oscar, Heather, Katie, Kyle, Samuel and Sara, sisters Mary (O’Dwyer), Betty (McGrath), Theresa (King), Sheila (Doheny) and Angela (Doheny), brothers-in-law, extended relatives neighbours and many friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 20th June 2025, of Mrs Nora Bourke (née Bourke), Foileen, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Paddy, Mrs Bourke passed away peacefully while in the tender care of her loving family and staff at Nenagh Rehabilitation centre.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Tim, George and John, daughters Margaret, Siobhan and Mary, daughters-in-law Ann, Ina and Helen, sons-in-law Phil and Liam, cherished grandchildren and their partners, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Carmel and Margaret, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tipperary (Eircode E34 K759), to arrive at 9:00pm. Requiem Mass for Mrs Bourke will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Upperchurch Cemetery, Crossroads, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 18th June 2025, of Mr James (Jim) Symons, Mill Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, North East England.
Mr Symons passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Sinéad (Hanafin), daughters Siobhán (Keith) and Áine (Luke), son James (Jade), grandchildren Saoirse, Lachlan and Aoife, brothers Allan and Geoff (Lindsay), sister Linda (Simon), aunt Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, Sinéad’s cousin Mary, and a wide circle of friends, especially those involved in Tipperary camogie.
