Death Of Joan Barry, Formerly Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 18th May 2025, of Mrs Joan Barry (née Fitzgerald), No. 13 St Patrick’s Close, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Crohane, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved son Jonathan; Mrs Barry sadly passed away unexpectedly, at her place of ordinary residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Paddy, daughters Debbie, Linda, and Alison, sons Andrew and Graham, sister Frances (Culleton), son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Helena, grandchildren Dayna, Brandon, Isaac and Brianne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Barry will repose at her home (Eircode R95 FD7P) on Wednesday afternoon, May 21st, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm same evening, with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6:30pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St Patrick, College Road, Walkinslough, Kilkenny City, on Saturday morning at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by a Service of Cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, 158 Harold’s Cross Rd, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, (Eircode D6W HY98) at 1:45pm.

Death Of Tina Harding, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday last 17th May 2025, of Ms Tina Harding (Barnaville), Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Glengoole, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Stephen and Cathy Harding, her sons Stephen and Michéal, her brothers Francis, Tommy and Stephen Jnr (Deano); Ms Harding, sadly, passed away at her place of ordinary residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her daughters Natasha and Kayley, her son Eddie, Kayley’s partner Dylan, Eddie’s partner Ciara, grandchildren Freya, Mason, Mia, Callum, Stephanie and Eddie (Jnr), sister Ann, brother-in-law Jim, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Ms Harding will repose on Wednesday afternoon next, May 21st, at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY47), from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St Patrick and St Oliver, Glengoole, Thurles on Thursday morning, May 22nd, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Jim McLoughney, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 18th May 2025, of Mr James (Jim “Muller”) McLoughney, Liscahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Liberty Square, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In his 92nd year and pre-deceased by his parents Joe and Nora, brother Eamon, sisters Betty (Mc Loughney), Carmel (Mc Loughney) and Nora (Troy); Mr McLoughney passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Gerda, daughter Gabriella, son Rory, Gabriella’s partner Padraig, grandchildren Ella and Karl and their mother Catherine, sister-in-law Luzie, nieces Mairead, Aideen and Sonja, nephew Armin, extended relatives, neighbours, and many friends, (especially Ana, Michael, Josephine, Noreen and Paddy).

His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Wednesday morning May 21st, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Tim Fogarty, Formerly Loughmore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 15th May 2025, of Mr Timothy (Tim) Fogarty (Retired publican Tim’s Tavern, South Main Street, Wexford Town), Redshire Road, Murrintown, Co. Wexford and formerly of Loughmore, Co. Tipperary, Marino, Dublin and London, UK.

Pre-deceased by his wife Maureen and sister Lil, the passing of Mr Fogarty is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; son Eamonn, daughter Fiona, brothers Pat, Michael, John and James, sisters Joan, Mary-Jo, Nora and Kathleen, grandchildren Eoghan, Tadhg and Tiarnan, great-grandson Mason, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Joe McCormack, Late Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 13th May 2025, of Mr Joseph (Joe) McCormack, No 6 Lynally Grove, Mucklagh, Tullamore, Co. Offaly and late of Horse and Jockey, Thurles and Moyne, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr McCormack sadly passed away unexpectedly.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Gemma, daughters Ciara and Nathasa and their partners Eddie and Shane, adored grandchildren Caitlin, Averil, Grace, David, Michael, Eddie, Robbie, Malia and Ella, brothers Seamus, John and Paschal, sisters Mary and Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, work colleagues in Lisheen Mines, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
