It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 10th July 2025, of Mr Frank Gooney, Ballytarsna, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his brothers Paddy, Mick, Joe and Bill, sisters Kat, Brid, Josie, Nell and Mary, the passing of Mr Gooney is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brothers Jack and Ollie, sister Betty, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Gooney will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY47) on Saturday afternoon, July 12th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, same evening. The funeral cortège bearing the remains of Mr Gooney will be received into the Church of St Peter, Moycarkey, Thurles on Sunday morning, July 13th to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment in the nearby Old Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 7th July 2025, of Mr Sylvester Morrissey, Rossane, Cloneen, Co. Tipperary, (Sylvester Morrissey Sales & services, Carrick-On-Suir, Co. Tipperary)
Pre-deceased by his parents Dick and Mary sisters Maureen and Helen; Mr Morrissey passed away peacefully while in the care of Staff of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family. .
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Mary, daughters Teresa and Frances, sons David and Richard, sons-in-law Anthony and Colin, daughter-law Vanessa, grandchildren Charlie, Finn and Daithi, brothers Tommy, Sean, Richard (Brud), Albert, Noel and Walter sisters Patricia and Carmel, sisters-in-law Mary, Rose, Majella, Deirdre, Ronnie and Nora, brothers-in-law John, Bert, Pat and Tom, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Bridie, his sister Breda, his brothers Michael, Dan and Pat; Mr Shanahan passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of his family, at his place of ordinary residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving and heartbroken wife Anna, sons John and P.J., daughter Kate (McElgunn, Thurles), son-in-law David, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, Trish and Sandra, brothers Jim and Ned, sister Anna (Corcoran), brothers-in-law, Bill Corcoran and James Stapleton, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, former work colleagues at Erin Foods and a large circle of friends.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Mary and sister Nora (Fitzpatrick); Mr O’Dwyer passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Eugene, daughter Margaret, son Martin, brothers Michael, John and William, sisters Anna and Patricia; Mrs Nolan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Ballinasloe Care Centre.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving son Tom, daughters Ann and Veronica, daughter-in-law Catherine, sons-in-law Maurice and Murray, adored grandchildren Jasmine, Susanna, Findley, Grace, Ailish, Éabha, Kevin, Saoirse, James, Naomi and Ciara, nephews, niece, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass for Mrs Nolan will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, July 8th, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Drum Cemetery, Curryroe, Co. Roscommon.
