Death of Peggy Fay, late of Moyne, Thurles, Tipperary

It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Friday 26th January 2018, of Mrs Peggy Fay (née Ely), Bray, Co. Wicklow and late of Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her husband James and son John; Mrs Fay passed away peacefully while in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dunlaoghaire, Co. Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her children, Helen, Jimmy, Peter, Julie and Marie; sons-in-law Kevin, Paul and Donal; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
A funeral Mass for Mrs Fay, will be held on Monday morning, January 29th, at 11.30am in St. Fergal’s Church, Killarney Rd, Bray, Co. Wicklow, followed by interment immediately following in the Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

Death Of Patsy Shaw, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 24th January 2018, of Mr Patsy Shaw, No.3 St. Mary’s Road, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary & formerly England.

The passing of Mr Shaw is most deeply regretted by his brothers; sisters; brothers-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Shaw will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles, tomorrow evening, Friday, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Killenaule at 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2.00pm, followed by burial in Crosscannon Cemetery.

Death Of Thomas Devitt, Borrisoleigh, Thurles

It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Thursday 25th January 2018, of Mr Thomas (Tommy) Devitt, Killoskehane, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his brother Donal, sisters Breda, Norah, Mary and Siobhan; Mr Devitt passed away most deeply regretted by his wife Breda (nee Dwan),  Niall, Paudie, Peggy, Una, Deirdre, Finola and Anne; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; grandnieces; grandnephews; extended relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Devitt will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Borrisoleigh, on tomorrow evening Friday, 26th, from 5.00 pm with removal at 7.30pm to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Drom at 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery, Drom, Templemore, Co.Tipperary.

Death Of Bridget Ryan, Graigue, Moycarkey, Thurles

It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Wednesday 24th January 2018, of Mrs Bridget (Bid) Ryan (née Caeser) Graigue, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her husband Martin (Sonny); Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully in her 97th year, while in the care of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her son Martin; daughter-in-law Kathleen; grandchildren Bríd, Catriona and Helena; her great grandchildren; sister Joan; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; cousins; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles on Thursday evening next from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive in St. Peter’s Church, Moycarkey at 8.00pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning at 11.30am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Tony Campbell, Formerly Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipp.

It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Monday 22nd January 2018, of Mr Tony Campbell, No.1 The Green, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Campbell passed away, peacefully at Cork University Hospital, Wilton, Co. Cork, most deeply regretted his daughters; son; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers; sister; nephews; nieces; relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Campbell will repose at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour tomorrow evening, Wednesday, from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Friar Street, Cashel.

Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 10.30am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in Cormac’s Cemetery.
