It is with a great personal sadness I learned of the death today, Saturday 3rd March 2018, of Mrs Frances Callanan (née Finn), Corbally, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Beloved wife of the late Joe and sister of the late Jimmy, Ursula, Collette and Mary; Mrs Callanan passed away peacefully while in the wonderful care of Mary O’Connor and all the Staff at Acorn Lodge.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving daughter Miriam; sons Billy, Edward, Rory and Mark; daughters-in-law Shelly and Nora; grandchildren, Miriam, Noel, Lauren, Jade, Amy and Lucy; sisters Nancy Stakelum and Angela Finn; sister-in-law Betty Devitt; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Callanan will lie in repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, on Monday evening next from 4.30pm, with removal at 7.30pm to the Cathedral of The Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles.
Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 2nd March 2018, of Mrs Patsy Bourke (née Harkin), Booleen, Bansha, Co. Tipperary and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Ned, brother Fr. Bobby and sister Rose; Mrs Bourke passed away peacefully at her home, most deeply regretted by her loving family; sons Cathal and Tommy; daughters Katie and Maura; brother Liam; son-in-law Justin; daughters-in-law Anne and Lorraine; Katie’s partner Kevin; sister-in-law Anne; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Bourke will repose at Fogarty’s Funeral Home, Bank Place, Tipperary Town, today Sunday 4th March from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, to arrive to St. Michael’s Church, Tipperary Town on Monday morning next at 10.15am. Funeral Mass will be held at 10.30am. Interment immediately afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary Town.

It was with great sadness we learned of the death, on Wednesday, 28th February 2018, of former Tipperary Chief Psychiatrist, Dr James (Jim) Morrison, Anne Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Tallow, Co. Waterford.
A former compassionate and dedicated worker at St Luke’s Hospital in Clonmel; Dr Morrison passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his family: wife Maura; sons and daughters Rachel (Kiely), Celestine (McCoy), Sylvia (O’Brien), Edward, Mary (Burke), James, John, Peter and Paula (Keating); brothers Jerry and John; sister Ann (Howard); grandchildren; sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended family and friends.

Removal on Sunday morning to St Mary’s Church, Irishtown, Oldbridge, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary for Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Friday 2nd March 2018, of Mr John O’Leary, Loughbrack, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Killarney, Co Kerry.
Mr O’Leary passed away peacefully at University Hospital, St Nessan’s Rd, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Babs); his passing is most deeply regretted by his brother Denis; nephews; nieces; carer and best friend Margaret; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Leary will repose on Monday morning next at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon from 10.00am with removal at 11.15am to St Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.
Interment will follow immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Ms Kennedy passed away peacefully, at Cork University Hospital.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her parents Paddy and Catherine; sister Nicola; brothers John and Patrick; brother in law; sister in law; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Ms Kennedy will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Sunday 4th March from 4.00pm to 7.00pm, to be received at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Monday 5th March at 10.15am.
Requiem Mass will take place at 11.00am, followed by cremation in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co Cork at 4.00pm.
