It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Tuesday 20th March 2018, of Mr James (Jim) Fanning, McDonagh Terrace, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, daughter Maureen and sister Pat; Mr Fanning passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his son Martin; daughter Ena (Fennessy); brother Thomas; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Nora; son-in-law Michael; nephews; nieces; sister-in-law Rita; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Fanning will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Thursday evening next, 22nd March, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St. Kevin, Littleton, Thurles, at 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Friday morning, 23rd March at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Ballymoreen Cemetery, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Monday 19th March 2018, of Mrs Catherine (Kitty) Carey (née Hickey), Garrycummer, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co.Tipperary, and late of Croughlahaun, Cappamore, Co. Limerick.
Mrs Carey, passed away peacefully, while in the care of University Hospital, Limerick city, surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of Larry, her passing is most deeply regretted by her sisters Mary, Margaret, Joan and Phyllis; her brother Michael; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Carey will lie in repose at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon Cross, Thurles, on Wednesday evening next, from 5.30pm with removal at 8.00pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Churchquarter, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery, Kilcommon.

Pre-deceased by her husband Tom; Mrs Ely passed away peacefully while in the loving care of Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

Removal willtake place on Wednesday morning to the Church of St. Mary, Moyne, Thurles, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 17th March 2018, St. Patricks Day, of Mrs Teresa Maher (née Harding), No.28 St. Patrick’s Terrace, The Commons, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Billy and son Jerry; the passing of Mrs Maher is most deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary, Siobhan and Helena; sons in law; grandchildren; great-grandchild; sisters Gretta, Maire, Bridie and Kay; brother Nick; brothers in law; sisters in law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives and a close circle of friends.

Removal will take place on Tuesday morning to the Church of The Assumption, Ballingarry (SR), arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

It was with great sadness we learned of the death today, Saturday 17th March (St. Patrick’s Day) 2018, of Mrs Carmel O’Gorman (née Quinn), Woollengrange, Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Athnid, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs O’Gorman passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of the staff at Gowran Abbey, Nursing Home, Co. Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of the late John, the passing of Mrs O’Gorman is most deeply regretted by her sister Nancy (McGrath); sister-in-law Kitty (Quinn); brother-in-law Fr. Dan O’Gorman; nephews; nieces; grandnephews; grandnieces; extended relatives and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Gorman will lie in repose at Johnston’s Funeral Home John’s Green, Gardens, Kilkenny on tomorrow evening Sunday, 18th March from 5.00pm with Funeral Prayers at 6.00pm, followed by removal to St. Bennett’s Church, Benettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny.
Requiem Mass will be held on Monday morning at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
