It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 20th June 2025, of Mrs Nora Bourke (née Bourke), Foileen, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Paddy, Mrs Bourke passed away peacefully while in the tender care of her loving family and staff at Nenagh Rehabilitation centre.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Tim, George and John, daughters Margaret, Siobhan and Mary, daughters-in-law Ann, Ina and Helen, sons-in-law Phil and Liam, cherished grandchildren and their partners, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Carmel and Margaret, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Bourke will repose at O’Dwyer’s funeral home, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, (Eircode E41 FN34), on Sunday evening, June 22nd, from 6:00pm, with removal at 8:00pm to the Church of St Joseph, Clonmurragha, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary (Eircode E34 K759), to arrive at 9:00pm. Requiem Mass for Mrs Bourke will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Upperchurch Cemetery, Crossroads, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 18th June 2025, of Mr James (Jim) Symons, Mill Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, North East England.
Mr Symons passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Sinéad (Hanafin), daughters Siobhán (Keith) and Áine (Luke), son James (Jade), grandchildren Saoirse, Lachlan and Aoife, brothers Allan and Geoff (Lindsay), sister Linda (Simon), aunt Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, Sinéad’s cousin Mary, and a wide circle of friends, especially those involved in Tipperary camogie.

Pre-deceased by her husband John; Mrs Sweetnam passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family while in the care of staff at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Alfred, Frank and Richard, daughter Ann (Giles), son-in-law Richard, grandchildren Stephen and Cassandra, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tipperary, (Eircode E41 YY97), on Friday afternoon next, June 20th, at 2:30pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday last, 13th June 2025 of Mr Enda Kennedy, St Peters Road, Walkinstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Templederry, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Sheelah; Mr Kennedy passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Tallaght Hospital, while remaining a long term resident of Cherry Orchard and Clondalkin Lodge Nursing Homes.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving siblings Ciarán, Fionán, Aidan, Eilis and Muireann, nieces Elaine, Aisling and Eimear, nephews Pauric, Allen, Colm, Paul and Darragh, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Loved and sadly missed for his humour and adventurous spirit by his long term doctor, Dr O’Dea, and all medical, nursing, kitchen and cleaning staff from so many different cultures, who have enthusiastically enriched his days for so many years.

The earthly remains of Mr Kennedy will repose at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue, Dublin, this afternoon, Monday June 16th, from 4:00pm until 5:00pm.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Walkinstown, Dublin on Tuesday morning, June 17th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. His funeral cortège will arrive later for interment in Templederry New Cemetery, Cloghinch, Templederry, Co. Tipperary at approximately 1:30pm.

The extended Kennedy family wish also to acknowledge the warm, caring and highly professional medical expertise of all management and staff in Tallaght Hospital. They made the last difficult six weeks of his life so much easier than it could otherwise have been.
