It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 27th June 2025, of Mrs Margaret Slattery (née Croke), No.16 Cashel Road, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Paddy and Kitty (Croke); Mrs Slattery passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at the Slievnamon Unit, Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Jim, daughter Margaret, sons Anthony and James, adored grandchildren Jason, Paige, Georgia, Leyanna and Aiobhínn, son-in-law Eamon, daughters-in-law Cliona and Amanda, brother John, sisters Mary, Kay, Esther, Martina, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, home help Niamh Shelly, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Slattery will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles (Eircode E41 HH66) tomorrow afternoon, Monday June 30th, from 5:00pm until 7:30pm same evening. Her remains will be received into the Church of St Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles on Tuesday morning to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by a Service of Cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare.
