It was with sadness that we learned of the death today, Saturday 26th July 2025, of Mrs Kathleen (Kay) Bourke (nee Hayes), Kinsale, Co. Cork and formerly of London and Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy; Mrs Bourke passed away, while in the care of her family, supported by staff at Haven Bay Care Centre and Dr. Helen Barry.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughters Rita and Catrina, sons Sean, Eamonn, Noel and Anthony, grandchildren Oisín, Clódagh, Oscar, Elly, Claire, Domonic, Tom, Stephanie, Jodie, Róisín, Olivia and George, great-grandchildren Sean, Teddy, Órlagh, Roscoe and Celeste, daughters-in-law Lorna, Marietta and Karen, sons-in-law John and Niall, sisters-in-law Mary (Burke) and Kathleen (Hayes), nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The remains of Mrs Burke will repose at Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Kinsale, Co. Cork, (Eircode P17 WC61) on tomorrow evening, Sunday July 27th, from 7:00pm until 8:00pm. Her remains will repose at Brett’s Funeral Home, No 6 Kickham Street Mullinahone, Thurles (Eircode E41EV78) on Tuesday afternoon, July 29th, from 5:00pm until 6:30pm, before being received into the Church of St Michael, Mullinahone, Thurles, at 7:00pm same evening. Requiem Mass Mrs Burke will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon, July 30th at 2:00pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 25th July 2025, of Mr Christopher (Christy) Finn, Tallaght, Co. Dublin and formerly of Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Finn, passed away peacefully, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family;
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife and best friend Clare, daughter Orlagh and stepsons Gerard, Liam, Larry, Robert and Greg, adored grandchildren, sisters, brothers, son-in-law Ray, daughters-in-law Amy, Colleen, Kate and Celine, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, a wide circle of friends, especially his four legged friend Buddy.

His remains will be received into the Church of St Mary’s Priory, Tallaght, Co. Dublin, (Eircode D24 X585) on Tuesday morning, July 29th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by Interment in Newcastle Cemetery, Greenoge, Co. Dublin.

Pre-deceased by his parents William and Margaret and his daughter Ann Marie Esther; Mr Griffin passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Peggy, sons Liam, Pádraig and Joseph, daughters Mairéad and Siobhán, grandchildren, Méabh, Sadhbh, Fiachra, Caoimhín and William, sons-in-law Tomás and Willie, brother-in-law Eamonn, sister-in-law Roseanne, nieces Antoinette, Sharon and Rachael, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Pre-deceased by his loving son Michael; Mr Brennan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at South Tipperary, University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Breda, daughters Bridget and Eileen, sons James and Patrick, aunt Mary, grand-children Michael, JJ, Patrick, Liam Og, Ada and Tadhg, daughter-in-law Gillian, sons-in-law James and James, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
