It was with sadness we learned of the death, on Thursday 10th July 2025, of Mrs Mary Anna Smith (née Fogarty), Sloatsbury, New York and formerly of Pike Street, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband William, parents Edward and Bridget, sisters Anne Johnson and Lena Fogarty and brother Daniel Fogarty; the passing of Mrs Smith is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Beverly and Eileen, granddaughters Kristie and Stacy, grandson Skyler Nelson, brother Marcus Fogarty (Cashel), nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Dinny O’Halloran, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness we learned of the death, today Wednesday 30th July 2025, of Mr Denis (Dinny) O’Halloran, Kilclooney, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Graigue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his first wife Margaret (née Pollard), second wife Kathleen (née Fogarty), son Pat, grandson Kevin, daughter-in-law Mary, brothers and sisters; Mr O’Halloran passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of the staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sons Seamus, Johnny, Denis, Maurice and Thomas, daughters Josie, Statia, Mary and Margaret, step-daughters Helen, Frances, Catherine and Bridget, daughters-in-law Joan and Sandra, sons-in-law Tony and Jimmy, brother Seamus, sister Margaret (O’Brien), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, former colleagues at Erin Foods, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Halloran will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles (Eircode E41 CP59) on Thursday afternoon, July 31st, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Mary, Moyne, Thurles, on Friday morning August 1st, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Jackie Looby, Formerly Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 28th July 2025, of Mr Jack (Jackie) Looby, formerly Ballinree, Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary and late of Rathcoole, Co. Dublin.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Eillen and his brother Neddie, Mr Looby, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Co. Dublin.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; heartbroken wife Ann, son Michael, grandson Jack, daughter-in-law Joanne, brother Michael, sisters Hannah, Eileen Og, Mary, Kathleen, Bernadette and Winnie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephew, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of the Holy Family, Main Street, Rathcoole, on Friday morning August 1st, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Newcastle Cemetery, Greenoge, Co. Dublin.

Death Of Edward O’Grady, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

It was with sadness we learned of the death, on Sunday 27th July 2025, of Mr Edward O’Grady, (Respected Horse Trainer), Killeens, Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr O’Grady passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St James Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family after a short illness.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Kay son Jonathan, daughters Amber, Lucy, Mimi and Rosie Mae. He will be deeply missed by his son-in-law Jed, Jonathan’s partner Hilary, grandsons Jasper, Freddie, Ned, Tristan, Hogan and Teddy, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends around the world.

His remains will be received into the Church of St Joseph the Worker Moyglass, Fethard, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E91 E244), on Friday morning, August 1st, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death today, Monday 28th July 2025, of Ms Linda O’Keeffe, Roseville, Callan Road, Co. Kilkenny and late of Mullinoly, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her father Tom, brother Eamon and nephew Thomas; Ms O’Keeffe passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of staff at Roseville (Auora), surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving mother Josie, sisters Miriam, Carmel and Sandra, brothers-in-law Noel, Michael and Noel, nieces Ciara, Orla and Eimear, nephews Darragh, Donnacha, Ollie and Aidan, aunts, uncles, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St Michael, Mullinahone, Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon on Thursday July 31st, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
