It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 31st August 2025, of Mrs Kathleen (Kitty) Hickey (née Dorney), No. 3 Boherlug, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Hickey passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and members of staff at Tír na nÓg, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Maureen, Susan, Diane, Alice, son Sean, beloved partner Davy, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Hickey will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles (Eircode E41 HH66) on Tuesday afternoon, September 2nd, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles, on Wednesday morning, September 3rd, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 30th August 2025, of Mr Conor Ryan, No. 1 Ard Na Croise, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his wife Joan and son Terence, his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving son Conor, daughters Marguerite and Catríona, grandaughter Róisín, grandson Mark, nephew Kevin, great grandchildren, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass will be offered for Mr Ryan, on Wednesday morning, September 3rd at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her son Seamus, grand-daughter Helen, parents James and Margaret, brother Phil, step-brother Mick; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family while in the care of Staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her remains will be received into former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday morning, September 2nd, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, of Mr Laurence (Larry) Monahan, St Annes, Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Oxmanstown Road, Dublin 7.
Pre-deceased by his parents James and Mary, sister Kay and grandson Brian jnr. ; Mr Monahan passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence, following a long illness bravely borne.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sons Gary and Bobby, daughters Lynn, Tara, and Clare and their mother Margaret, grandchildren Zoe, Leah, Lucy, Róisín, Emma, Áine, Ruth, Jack, Cara, Cian, Ciara, Darragh and Aoife, sons-in-law Brian, Paul and Sean, daughters-in-law Amanda and Chanelle, brother Jimmy, sister Marie, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

A Service of Cremation will take place in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30) on Saturday morning, August 30th, at 11:00am.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday last 23rd August 2025, of Ms Helen Cuddihy Blackrock, Dublin and formerly of Drangan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Ms Cuddihy sadly passed away unexpectedly at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving partner Owen, brothers John and Michael, sister Ann, sisters-in-law Marie and Helen, brother-in-law Joe, nieces Sinead and Deirdre, nephews Michael, Tom, Eoin, Conor, Adam and Robert, treasured grandnieces and grandnephews, her partner Owen’s sister Mary, the Mac Dermott family, extended relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many dear friends.
