Death Of Ned Brett, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday last, 10th November 2023 of Mr Edmond (Ned) Brett, “Taibiba” and Brett’s Hardware, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his loving son Neville, brother Paddy and sister Kay; Mr Brett sadly passed away following a short illness, while in the care of staff at University Hospital Clonmel and Waterford University Hospital (ICU).

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Teckie, daughter Roisin, sons Adrian and Ronan, and his much adored grandchildren Holly, Lemmy, Robin, Stevie and Rían, daughters-in-law Claire and Kerrie, brothers John and Tom, sisters-in-law Loretta and Aileen, brother-in-law Alan, extended relatives, and all the staff at Brett’s Hardware Mullinahone and Callan, exceptional neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Brett will repose at his private residence “Taibiba”, Mullinahone Thurles, (E41 NA02) on Monday afternoon, November 13th, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St. Michael, Kickham Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, on Tuesday, November 14th, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Sadie Scally, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 10th November 2023 of Mrs Sarah (Sadie) Scally (née Madden), Cabragh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Lisatonny, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Nancy and Denis; Mrs Scally passed away peacefully after long illness most bravely borne, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Donie, her brothers-in-law Eugene Scally and Mossy Scally, her sisters-in-law Kitty Scally, Evelyn Nevin, Rosie Kavanagh, and Anne Foley and good friend Mary Russell, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Scally will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Tuesday afternoon, November 14th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Wednesday, November 15th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Holycross Abbey graveyard.

Death Of Michelle Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Thursday 9th November 2023 of Ms Michelle Ryan, Newtown, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Islington, London.

Pre-deceased by her parents Molly and Jerry and sister Katherine; Ms Ryan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her devoted partner Kevin, daughters Jessica and Lily, son Darragh, brothers J.J. and David, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Her remains will be received into the former Cistercian Abbey Church at Holycross, Thurles, on Monday morning, arriving at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Eileen Coman, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 9th November 2023 of Mrs Eileen Coman (née Sause), Coldfields, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Glenbane, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary, brother Johnny; Mrs Coman sadly passed away unexpectedly at her daughters residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken family; devoted husband Paddy, sons Stephen, Patrick and Tómas, daughter Jacinta, grandchildren Grace, Rachel, Darragh, Ciarán, Shane, Killian, Zara and Olivia, daughters-in-law Fiona, Kathleen and Juliet, son-in-law Joe, sisters Mary (Commins), Margaret (Fitzgerald), Bridget (Duncan) and Kathleen (Brown), brother Richard, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Death Of Nora Kennedy, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 8th November 2023, of Mrs Nora Kennedy [née Ryan (Matt)], Curraghpoor, Donaskeigh, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Reafadda, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Mathew and Ita, her brother Pat and Infant children; Mrs Kennedy passed away peacefully following a long illness most bravely borne, while in the care of staff of Haywood Lodge, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, husband Michael, sons Darren, Barry and Paul, Barry’s partner Christina, brother Liam (Golden), sister Sheila (Allis), her adored grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives neighbours and friends.
