Death Of Michael O’Grady, Formerly Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 20th September 2025, of Mr Michael O’Grady, Túr Uisce, Doughiska, Galway City, Co. Galway and formerly of Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Sadly, Mr O’Grady passed away unexpectedly at the Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, Co. Dublin.

Pre-deceased by his parents Gerard (Gerry) and Moira, his brother Peter and more recently by his brother-in-law Richie Cotter; his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife and best friend Teresa, brothers John, Anthony, Gerry, Joseph and Eddie, sisters Mary, Anne and Marette, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle Phil and aunt Ena, goddaughter Elayne and her daughters Nicole and Hazel, cousins, extended family, work colleagues, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Grady will repose at The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue, Galway (Eircode H91 FH52), on Tuesday afternoon, September 23rd, from 5:00pm until 6:30pm, before being received into the adjoining Holy Family Catholic Church, St James Road, Galway city, Co. Galway.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Mr O’Grady on Wednesday morning, September 24th, at 11:00am, followed by a service of cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30) at 3:00pm.

Death Of John McGinn, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 20th September 2025, of Mr John McGinn, Teach Toibín, Cathaganstown, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan.

In his 88th year and pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary (nee Carroll), baby son Seán, brothers and sisters; Mr McGinn passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence, surrounded by loved ones.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving sons Pádhraic, Donnchadh, Macdarragh and daughter Coríosa, cherished grandchildren Aisling, Saoirse, Aideen, Caoimhe, Seán, Ruadhán, Ruaraidh, Luke and Marcus, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Mcginn will repose at his place of ordinary residence, (Eircode E41 D681), on Monday afternoon. September 22nd, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Joseph the Worker, Moyglass, Fethard on Tuesday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Michael Irving, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday last 13th September 2025, of Mr Michael Irving, Ballycamas, Clonoulty, Tipperary and formerly of Penrith, Cumbria, England.
Mr Irving sadly passed away unexpectedly, while in the care of staff at The Beacon Hospital, Dublin.

Pre-deceased by his parents Colin and Patricia, brother Stephen and mother-in-law Kathleen O’Dwyer (Ballycamas); his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving husband Mike (M.J.) O’Dwyer, sister Mandy Daly, niece Emma, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The remains of Mr Irving will repose at Devitt’s Funeral Home, The Green, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, on Monday evening next, September 22nd, from 6:00pm, with a Service of Remembrance at 7:30pm.
All are welcome to attend.
Cremation will takes place on Tuesday, September 23rd, in The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork at 12:00 noon.

Death Of Johnny Butler, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 18th September 2025, of Mr Johnny Butler, Clonboo, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In his 93rd year, and pre-deceased by his sons Ned and Jack; Mr Butler passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Mary, sons Pat and Matt, daughter Catherine, daughters-in-law Niamh and Anne, son-in-law Tom, grandchildren Kiera, Zoe, Lily, Aoife, Sarah, Seán, Éamonn, Joe and Áine, great granddaughter Éabha, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 18th September 2025, of Ms Peggy O’Dwyer, The Glebe, Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents James and Annie and her twin brothers who died in infancy; the passing of Ms O’Dwyer is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving brothers Denis, Phil and John, sister Kathleen, sisters-in-law Maura and Eileen, nephews Enda, John, Denis, James, Philip Donal and Philip, nieces Gail and Maureen, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended relatives neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass will be offered for Ms O’Dwyer on Sunday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Clogher Cemetery Clonoulty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
